This story was started before Princess Candice was brought up... so if continuity changes and it does turn out that she's an alicorn, and that alicorns are more common than expected... oops, my bad... i came into this with the thought that Alicorns were rare creatures, so yeah...

Which is why I mentioned assisting in making things. Lauren Faust was the lead animator for The Iron Giant, mostly focusing on the Giant itself.

This is what I usually tell people. I'm thinking Alicorns are more common than many Bronies think. And I think not all of them are immortal. Celestia and Luna are probably like that due to the fact both of them had used all six Elements of Harmony at the same time. (Or they each used three at least. which ever you think is right.) I can say this because Cadance was Twilight's foal sitter and she looks to be Shining Armor's age now, and Twilight's pretty much near the adult age since she's a mare. (Luna's season 2 appearance is probably just her with her full power back.) And we don't even know if Cadance is just a Unicorn who was lucky enough to be born with wings as well. (Meaning no earth pony traits.)

I reviewed this fic recently, and although its author is long gone from this site I'm still posting a courtesy note. An intriguing setup to start with and I was kept interested for a fair while, but it really shows its age, there are too many typos, and personally I'm no fan of the big reveal.
