The year 1015. One thousand fifteen years after Princess Luna was banished to the moon. One world changing technology has been discovered. The jet engine. One single invention has revolutionized trade, travel, and war. This technology has been distributed to all nations, such as the Gryphons, the Zebras, and the Crystal Empire. Fifteen years after, the Gryphons declare war on Equestria. In the year 1045, two pilots join the ranks of the Equestrian Royal Airforce.
Will they be able to mend these shattered skies? Guess there's only one way to find out.

This is great and I like Ace Combat as well, but I see a problem: "the ailerons tilted upward," it should be the elevators. The elevators control pitch; the ailerons control roll. Also there are a couple of grammar troubles, but they seem to be from just quick writing.
