Well actually I was trying to put across the point that humans aren't all bad by creating incredible machines.
And, no there aren't ONLY books about wars. It just happened to be that the one at the top of the pile was.

Okay, I just googled "US Army Air Force", and it seems you are right that 'Army Air Force' would have been on World War 2 aircraft. But the B-29 was also used in the Korean War. So "USAF" could still be historically accurate.
