Spin-off sequel to Fashionista's Dilemma.
Channel surfing can have its consequences -- Michael Walker discovers a mystery channel that allows him to view a side of Ponyville not normally seen. He is surprised to find that he can converse with some of the ponies, only to have Pinkie Pie pull him through the TV into the cartoon world. Brenda witnesses this and angrily follows her husband through the TV. They discover they cannot return the way they came.
They encounter difficulties in Equestria and are forced to adapt to their new surroundings. Eventually they discover that things aren't as bright and cheerful as they sometimes appear on television, and that displeasing the Princess also has its consequences. Their marriage will be severely tested as Brenda learns certain lessons the hard way and Michael is forced to resist certain temptations.

Why should I have any? You've done NOTHING but torture the wife. NOTHING but have the husband gallivanting off and giving the wife REASON to be pissed, and then torture her for it.
3444251 I understand your opinion on where this story is so far -- the wife has tortured her husband for nearly twenty years, and she will learn humility -- eventually. In the process, Celestia will learn just how stubborn humans can be. The husband will find that the ponies are not as receptive as he might think, and he will learn a few things in the process as well. He will come to appreciate being married to a human, though it will take him learning that lesson the hard way.
Even though this might look like a revenge fantasy against the wife and self-gratification with the ponies, that's not going to happen. This story is still in the early stages, and what has been written so far is to lay the groundwork for the later part. There has already been some foreshadowing of future events.
I would hope you might be a little more patient before hypothesizing the direction of the plot.

This is a story of redemption, but Brenda's going to go through some hard times. This next chapter is going to be very painful.
Can I assume from Celestias permission to Brenda at the end that chapter that the six months he was in the coma retraining was completed?
5815300 His coma didn't last six months, but yes, the two of them spent an entire year or so in Canterlot. Celestia decided Brenda had suffered enough at some point and released her to him.

I know you've got a bunch of other stories in the works including that "Burnt Orange Juice" one I'm really enjoying, but do you have any idea when you'll release the next chapter to this? Also in hindsight wouldn't it have been easier on ya to focus solely on one story at a time to it's completion rather than writing several at once?

The next chapter of this story is currently sitting around 2k words, which is pretty close to finished, but there's more I need to add to it. I'm glad Celestia is going to be confronted for the torture she inflicted on Brenda. That was just downright cruel. Though I can't help but wonder what a bunch of Zebras could do to the most powerful Alicorn in Equestria.
Celestia claims that she is a kind, compassionate ruler...but puts Brenda in the castle dungeon.

in shows, it is portrayed that equestria is nanny state. run by immortal tyrants and her nobles. discipline guards that lack actual combat experience and stagnation of technological development. xenophobic yet can be overide by a decree from crown.
so this novel shows dirty sides of equestria. what kimd of shits has to be done for that kind of society to exist.
