A young man goes into an astral projection as to 'escape' his boring shackled life and goes to the magical land of Equestria and then by the forces of the universe he ends up actual being in Equestria where he sees he has taken the shape of a pony. After meeting and odd old man and an exuberant black smith he earns a magic sword and learns of a prophecy that he can't avoid no matter how hard he tries. A side note read my comments as they will hold important information, sometimes, not all the time.

Hey everypony I was thinking of going back and doing a rewrite of this story, like a chapter by chapter type story so I could get into more detail and really make it better so if you liked it tell me what you liked and if you didn't like it tell me what you didn't like so I can work on making it better. Hey guy's thanks for being patient, I said I start working on this rewrite like, forever ago. But wait no longer! The new and improved prologue is now up and the rest will be coming some I swear. I had just been really busy with other stuff but mostly my laziness kept me from writing. So after rereading my original story for Red Lightning Ready to Bolt I can honestly say, I have no idea where it was going. Well I know what I was trying to say but it obviously didn't come out that way. That is why I'm rewriting it, to make it better, and improve it. I will mostly follow the basic story arc but the rest is going to be gutted and replaced. If at any point you don't like the new direction of the story just let me know and I will fix it and make it better. That is the whole point of rewriting it, to make it better. Just keeping you guy's informed and more chapters coming soon.
Hey guys my second chapter of the rewrite is up so go and check it out. I think that this new version is at least 1000 times better then my original, but that's not hard seeing as the first one was pretty bad. It wasn't bad necessarily but the new one is better. It was my first story, I wrote it all in one day, and I was too excited to actually read it over again. Hope you guys like the new direction of the story and that you don't mind that very little of the old story will actually be present in this. If you guys don't like it or have ideas on how to make it better let me know, and thanks for being patient, I'm going to work on it faster now so less waiting but I will still make it great.
Hey guys the third chapter is finished and out now so the story continues.
The fourth chapter of the rewrite is up. It is significantly shorter because it is just a fight scene and not much was going on. The next chapter will be longer as my journey to Ponyville continues.

Hey guy's, sorry I haven't been updating in a while, I've had stuff going on, but I'm back and I have good news! After much thought I went back and rewrote my rewrite for chapter five and removed the shipping I had. I think I'll do a better job at integrating it and much later in the story. Like I said sorry I haven't been doing stuff and I'm going to work on my story more frequently again.
The sixth chapter is currently up now. Up until this point Manna has been remembering what had happened. From now on these are all events happening in the present.
