For the penguins - Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private -this last day could have gone better. When testing Kowalski's Dimensionator (A device to find the user's ideal dimension) on Private, they found themselves warped not to the dimension of the Lunacorns (which would be bad enough), but in a dimension called "Equestria" which is full of pastel colors and female mammals. For the penguins, this would be bad enough, but they also lost their way to get home. And just because they can't get home, doesn't mean that other animals can come to them. Animals who's greatest desire is to destroy the penguins. At least the sudden cold snap is nice. (Note: this cross over is with the Penguins of Madagascar TV show which Word of God says exists in an Alternate Universe to the Madagascar movies.)

It's the episode where the penguins accidentally get caught on film and then try to delete it by first heading to the photographer's then the ad agency, where Skipper says the aforementioned phrase and assaults, by himself, a group of executives after they poke fun of his TP foot, then to the printer's. What was the name of that episode? Ah yes, it was called "Fit to Print". Check out the video.

269628 It is a very wonderful series. Please give it a shot! A good number of episodes are available either on Youtube or DVD. An episode called "Miss Understanding" will be sort of key to one of the conflicts in the story so please try to find that one. I know it's on a site off of youtube.

Yes, I'm working on Chapter 3 now. Then I'll send it to my editor (who is also one of the previously mentioned friends) and she'll do her amazing things with it. Mine's not bad as is, but she really gives it a great polish.

As for the Penguins: yes, they seem to be cancelled right now. At the very least, they are finishing up ADR right now. I'll miss it when it's gone, so that's why I worked on these. It may be my last chance.
As an update: I'm scared that Skipper is taking over the story and I'm really struggling on how to write his misogyny. "Miss Understanding" shows he has some very outdated gender roles, but I can think of only three female animal characters he's had significant interaction with in the series. He's friends with Marlene, he dated Kitka, and he's fine with the Mother Duck. But Marlene is clearly marked as an exception since Skipper has issues with most animals, not just females. Kitka was a love interest so of course he's fine there. And he's had very few lines with Mother Duck so... not much there.
(sigh)
I'm worried about this chapter. The love must be shared between the Penguins and the Ponies. Skipper and Private can't be the sole Point of View!

359100 It's a good idea, I am just not sure how it would have fit in. As it is, Blueblood has already diminished himself in Skipper's eyes. He did not fight back and he retreated when he did not profit by retreating. Plus he was a bully.
