Other because he technically did appear in a Season 2 episode.
OC because he was just a background character that appeared in one episode and wasn't important or even noticed at all until he was "adopted" into an actual character by JanAnimations.

I've been waiting for a ButtonBelle shipfic. You need to get someone to edit for spelling and grammar for you (there are quite a few errors in those areas, particularly spelling), but overall, it's off to a good start. Just try to find someone who's willing to look over it for you before you publish the next chapter.
3157901 thanks for bringing the errors to my attention. I think I've corrected most of them though its hard for me to be certain dyslexia makes that a rather difficult task. Also thank you for your praise this is my second fanfic my first was......not well received and that damaged my confidence a little. but this one seems to be doing much better. I hope you enjoy what's still to come even more or at least just as much as what you have already read.

a quick glance from an editor or another person would certainly do this chapter really good in terms of grammar and other errors..
the pacing is ok i think, but you should do something to seperate scenes visibly (like a bigger paragraph or some lines between scenes)

Hey guys I know I haven't updated recently sorry. Real like caught up with me and I got swamped but I just finished chapter 5 and its being proof read by my editor it will be posted soon.

You realize the same could technically be said about...

the Pie Sisters, Derpy, Lyra, Bon-Bon, Vinyl, Doctor Whooves, Octavia, Colgate, Dinky, Thunderlane, Flitter and Cloudchaser, Rumble, Roseluck, Noteworthy, the rest of the flower ponies, Raindrops, Aloe & Lotus, Sparkler, and Cloudkicker.
People have taken minimal information out of these ponies EXTREMELY limited screen time and built on it with fanon upon fanon, to the point where people tend to forget that they did, in fact, start off as a character from the show that someone said "Oh hey, I like that pony, I'mma write about them." From a technical standpoint, the "character" that we all think of when we see Derpy is entirely fanon (which was retroactively made pseudo-canon by the show, but still), but if you try to class her as an OC, you will have people up in arms and probably attempting to murder you. Hence, the brightline always seems to be, "Has this pony been seen in the show, in any context, ever?"
I don't really agree with that being the dividing mark, but I can't come up with a better one, so I support it.
