Physically and emotionally tired from her latest tour, Vinyl decides that a pet would help to calm her nerves. Of course not just any pet will do, and Vinyl picks the most exotic pet in the store, an Octaviapus. But when “Octy” begins to grow at an alarming rate and ponies begin to disappear, Lyra begins to wonder if “Octy” is really as innocent as Vinyl claims. Could it all be a misunderstanding or does “Octy” have an insatiable thirst for pony flesh?

Well as long as there is a legitimate reason for it I'm fine with it. But plot devices for the sake of plot devices always bug me. Like those teenagers splitting up just so it's easier for the monster to kill them. Plot-induced stupidity should never exist in a good story.

Hilariously wierd, and wierdly hilarious at the same time. I've heard of Gremlins, but I also heard somewhere that it was discontinued extremely quickly for some reason, and is now never shown on TV or theaters ever, even during Cult Classic nostalgia specials and the like.
