I am at a loss to properly understand why her suit tore down as well as up, and more or less disintegrated. Also wondering why her team didn't help her once she landed.
Kind of glad they didn't, wouldn't have been as many tasty bits to read about if that was the case.
Once she hit the ground her day only got worse. Poor dear.

As to why her suit ripped, I imagined that the part she tore from was around her belly, and therefor it would spread all around from there due to the tightness of the jumpsuit. But, that said, this story is pretty much implausible all around – That was kind of the idea. It's completely degrading, but ridiculous enough to, hopefully, be understood as a sort of joke, just for the sake of being sexy, rather than realistic.

a flimsy suit (under considerable tension) could fall apart like that, I've no idea. This is an area that clearly needs more testing to be done

Praised by allcomers! I like this idea. Spits is a celeb so is in a good position to start trends, and things have a tendency to be seen at multiple angles: some commentators may immediately think this was a mistake and mock or pity her (with the photos in a multi-page spread) and some others may laud her bravery and ambition to push the boundaries of her profession (with the photos in a multi-page spread). Either way, its good exposure.
While I would be in favour of this continuing, I do like little one-shots which are slightly unresolved. Can lead in so many different ways and hopefully inspire others to explore those new paths.
Going to have to follow you when I can get on an actual computer

I thought of continuing this, but I kind of like the unresolved ending. It's rather dark, but the reader can imagine the events that occur after it however they want – Dark, or not.

I can only imagine one of her teammates running to her aid, shielding her, getting her out of the area of those perverted camera operators, and covered up. In the end, this ends up being a very embarrassing moment for her as it'll be called "Spitefire's Wardrobe Malfunction".
