4475078 That... was beautiful.
You understand perfectly what I was trying to hammer home.

Dimiourgia is a name I invented based on the Greek Demiurge, to loosely mean "Creator."

The demiurge (/ˈdɛmiˌɜrdʒ/) is a concept from the Platonic, Neopythagorean, Middle Platonic, and Neoplatonic schools of philosophy for an artisan-like figure responsible for the fashioning and maintenance of the physical universe

Yes, she's God. Yes, she is timeless. No, I will not get into an a/thiesm debate with you :derpytongue2:
Edit: her original name was simply "Faust," however EqD would not accept the story with "references to real-world show staff."

I knew by her design that you intended her to be Faust! I was actually surprised that name wasn't used, actually; I've seen it accepted by fanfiction on this site before.

And I have zero intention of debating a/theism over a world that doesn't actually exist. That sounds rather pointless, don't you think? Still, I'm not sure if I like this depiction or not...

She never actually intended for him to be released. That was a complete oversight on her part. She never anticipated that Celestia would dive into the pool and release him.

Also, chaos has no control over chaos, in my mind. *shrugs*

It's also possible that this is just a poorly told story, being the first one I ever wrote in my whole life, and stuff. :rainbowlaugh:

A god who makes oversights, eh? Interesting, I was anticipating that a being capable of creating an entire world would be more... aware. I simply didn't expect Dimiourgia to be a flawed god, so I suppose I should say 'good job' for surprising me.

Chaos has no effect on chaos? That's an interesting take and leads me to some curious ideas. On a related note, would you stop giving me ideas? :raritydespair:

It's like the dark side of the force, in a way: she cannot see the future whenever chaos is involved.

4593252
If chaos becomes involved and she cannot see the future, that should set off warning bells in her (supposedly) omnipotent head that something is wrong and needs to be addressed immediately. Unless something has happened to Dimiourgia in the background that prevents her from helping the world she created – now that would be tragic.

Cool. Got a link for me? :pinkiehappy:
Also, bear in mind that this was my first story.
Thank you for reading

Yeah.

Also, I'm glad you took the time to read my first story. Granted, it's not very good compared to my later works.

Hey, I wrote a review of this story. In case you are interested, it can be found here.

I love how weird and different the story feels. I liked the characters, and as strange as your concept for a creation myth is, it worked quite well. Still, it is certainly very rough around the edges, and I never quite got Rose's character. Still, I guess I will end up checking the sequel.

Oh hey, cheers. Glad you enjoyed it for what it is.
I hope you like the sequel; this and it were my first ever attempts at writing anything outside of school, which I left in 2007.
