Thats pretty much all predators. Successful predators(Hi humanity!) prefer to stack the deck in their favor to the best of their ability and rarely fight to the death(It's funny that the concept of a fair fight is a cultural evolutionary trait that selects against itself).
Remember kids! If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, somebody screwed up. Now you know and knowing is half the battle!
The other half is a blowgun and darts coated with reside from boiling tobacco into a sticky paste. And a good alibi.
