How did I not find this sooner.
The weather needs to be music if you want to fit the same format. Traffic should be a different format every time. Be contradictory. Shining armor needs secret police. Patrol griffons, the Glow Cloud, the dog park, the shape that no one seems to acknowledge that it exists, kumquats, vague yet menacing government agencies, and street cleaning day.
Also, you need to have fluttershy's intern's dying left and right. And a (not really) proverb at the end.
Since Night Vale is a radio show with nonsensical and random content, you should try to fit the format as closely as possible to be an accurate crossover.
In other news: Bravo! Excellent! Wonderful! Well-Done! The Old Gods, the Glow Cloud, and Night Vale Secret Police approve of this story!
