This story seems to carry some striking similarities to Terry Pratchett's Sam Vimes stories. You a fan of him then? Still, Very well written and I would like to see more. Also holy epic word count. 14 thousand words for a chapter? Winning.

I have, in all honesty, read and re-read Pratchett's books for years. I love the way he took average, working class people and thrust them into situations far out of their depth where they would become heroes. I did take a great deal of inspiration from his works.

As for the word count, there are two more chapters planned (and almost finished, i might add) which are just about the same in terms of length.

Seeing the 177 on the badge I figured you had to be a fan

And that is why you don't mess with the Sun Goddess.

So many twists and turns, flows good, it has kept my interest.

I look forward to how this pans out.

I'm really enjoying this, i'm a big fan of pratchett.

The characters are strong, i would have continued to read even without the main 6.

I also like that you don't mind killing your characters, add to the tension.
