I have a total of 50 or so chapters set up for this story and at least two sequels lined up, maybe four but I haven't decided. All depends on how this story is received.

So, they have to spend a year locked up like prisoners, basically for the crime of existing.
The ponies not being able to get over the changeling invasion an entire year after it happened and their suspected inabilty to accept the humans, well, that is their problem. That is entirley THEIR problem, and the mane six and the princesses should not make it the humans problem. Especially not by treating the humans, who have done nothing wrong and been outright victims, like criminals. Or in Rainbows case, bloddthirsty monsters. Seriously, screw you Rainbow.
Don't get me wrong, I really like this story.
I just find this particular part highly annoying.

All to often you get the human who is immediately accepting and forgiving, and it drives me crazy.
I love how he is constantly reminding Rainbow that for all her apologies, it doesn't change the facts that the ponies are treating the humans like criminals and monsters.
"It's sweet of you to apologize Rainbow, but that doesn't un-mutilate my friends face or free us from what is essentially house arrest.
Taylor is a little to easily forgiving, but i guess that's just the kind of person she is.
And that's the good thing about this story; several humans, for several viewpoints and therefore several ways of confronting, handling and resolving any given situation.
As for Rainbow coming to realize, on her own, that forcing the humans to adhere to pony lifestyle was a shitty thing to do. Well done, I don't think I have seen a conflict resolve itself in that way before (especially not with Rainbow Dash).
Also, Taylor's upside down shirt incident ...

I must agree. And given that Twilight was amazed that Thomas put so much detail into the rose, It suggest that like unicorns, Humans might be better a some forms of magic depending on who they are. In Thomas's case, He might be better at making roses then... Well... Blasting stuff with magic. And I think the rose is a good representation of Thomas. He can be sweet and innocent looking on the outside, But if you get him angry his thorns come out... Or maybe I'm over thinking this...
Good chapter, the hedgehog bit was cute and amusin while the political debate was clever, insightful and ( in my opinion) even funnier. Nothing is more hilarious than a befuddled Twilight tangled up in her own argument.
However, well ther is only one way to say this. The ponies were kind of jerks in this one.
" Hey, let's all talk about how great it is to go outside and how bad it is for you to stay inside all the time. And let's discuss this right in front of the individual we WON'T LET GO OUTSIDE."
The counterpoint to that was just sort of passed over super quick. It was literally a three sentence debate.
And I know I keep bringing this up but; why the hell are the humans not outraged at being basically imprisoned for a year mabey longer when they are completely innocent of even the slightest crime.
Seriously, why is this not a bigger issue for them. A year is a long ass time to be locked up.
One could argue that they can go out in Sweet Apple Acres. But what does that really say.

The whole time is was reading Angel's parts I was trying to give him a tough voice... But the it went into a kid's voice... And I really like how he isn't a complete D*** to spike at the start...
