It was heart warming but I was not brought to tears. Believe me you did a fantastic job but you could have gone one step farther. Perhaps instead of Spike letting the letter fly away, he burns it instead as an act of trying to send the letter to Twilight. And center 'The End'. Your story is still good nonetheless.

I'd like to point out an error. If the dragon hadn't left it would have been a hundred years of smoke, not a thousand.

240519I wrote this at midnight and it was more of a stream of consciousness instead of having a gameplan. I tried doing it by memory so maybe thats why I messed it up

Oh, OH, Im sorry! I read this off my phone and i didn't realize it was based of a comic! I just looked at the comic and you did a splendid job of staying with the flow rather than you adding your own twist. In this case ill gladly enjoy the last scene than i did last time.

Nearly cried. The only mlp fic that has made me cry so far is My Little Dashie. This story almost broke the record. If the letter had been a bit longer, I would have cried. A good story though

Honestly this story falls into what I'd call "Cheap feels" okay Spike is leaving, I've read and re-read this and cannot find out why he left. Did the main six die? I mean seriously you explain none of this, just Spike is leaving and it's sad.
