Ah, yes, the Rarity statuette. The pony who started it all... I shall say no more. She just wanted to keep her friends together...
Oh, I love Gawd...she is so much fun to see again.
2962868
Indeed...
2963007
Yeah... The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Oh Rarity, Rarity, Rarity. Your death was far too tragic
I wanted to ask about this when I finished reading the fic the first time, but I guess I forgot. Kkat, why exactly did the raiders attack the slavers? For a story stuffed to the brim with foreshadowing and Chekhov's guns, this has always stood out to me as a weird red herring that was never elaborated on.
Actually, I wanted to know about what 2963302 asked, too. I mean, we don't get to know about RD's fate - it's understandable. We don't get to know about who became the new Element of Generosity - not so understandable, but not really crucial to the plot since The Gardens of Equestria was activated all the same (though, Kkat, if you're reading this, maybe you could answer that question too?); but I've been wondering about the slaver/raider situation for a while. Was it blind luck? Was it the raiders' psychotic nature? Or was Red Eye involved? If yes, then how?
Sorry for bugging you with questions, Kkat. I know you have lots to do, but, maybe, you could answer those?
2963420 Kkat actually has a personal headcanon about Rainbow Dash's fate. She talks about it here.
2963450
Woooooah. I... I can't thank you enough for sharing this! So much delicious head-canon!
Great!!

That is Pip's new fetish.

Funny, I'd heard the road to hell was paved with old people. Or was it landmines? Maybe the screaming faces of the damned?
Eh, it's somethin' er other.
I've been reading this outstanding story from EQD, but for some reason Chapter 15 won't open. Don't know why, so I came here and behold! Chapter 15 isn't even up yet! Dang it. Anyways, it's a pretty awesome story so far, from what I've read. Really eager to keep reading, but alas. I must wait . . . .
SO FAR:
Slavers: Hated
Raiders: Hated
New Appaloosians: Wild Child/Shunned
Talon Company: Neutral
I've already read this, the PDF Version i found, and let me say it was one of the best Near-crossovers i've ever read, (also the longest the hunger games trilogy is half as many pages long) Instead of throwing Ponies into a post apocalyptic world of fallout, you took the world of Fallout and gave it to the ponies. and and made it work. Bravo. now to kill Raiders
2965079 *Raiders: Vilified
*Slavers: Vilified

So I have finally decided to read your story and while I usually put a review at the end of every latest updates from stories I have favorited I will probably not be doing that for this story, at the most I will probably just put in some gif that I find amusing and I'll save my real review for the final chapter.

Magic hands.

I need to re-read The Divine Comedy.
molesting a statue ha
pffBAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH
That's... That's too rich!
*crying tears of blood*
I know someone's already pointed it out, but...
I won't spoil anything, but when you know what happens later... man, that hurts. Hurts real bad.
Something that just occurred to me is that Lilpip may be addicted to Mint-als... or close to it.
+5 LUCK!? WTF!?
That`s too generous i think.
2963302 I think it was to eradicate all slaver/raider groups that weren't red eye, as he legit thought he was doing a good thing
Another bobblehead. Charisma, I'd imagine, as I rather doubt Perception would have done anything for her magic
Assuming there's bobbleheads for each of the Mane 6, and assuming the trend continues.
Strength: Applejack
Perception:
Endurance:
Charisma: Rarity
Intelligence: Twilight (Like she'd be anything else)
Agility: Rainbow Dash (Again, out of the SPECIAL stats, what else COULD she be?)
Luck: Pinkie Pie
Leaning towards Shy being Endurance, for REASONS, but curious as to who might fill that last slot.
And there is always the chance I am overthinking things massively. (I do that.)

Even not knowing exactly what is going to happen, as soon as I saw that, I facepalmed.
Of all the things Lilpip is, Genre-savvy certainly isn't one of them.

"Be Unwavering" is Endurance, actually.
SPOILERS
Such is the price of being a hero. It's a dangerous business, for everypony involved, and so some ponies will insist on being as uninvolved as possible.
Tense.
The SPP. One more thing that will become important to your quest, in time.
Also quite visually striking.
You know, that's not really a worse answer than "extra-dense clouds."
You're the healer; get used to being the last into new buildings.
An demonstration of great national pride, that almost nopony knew that invisibility spells had been reverse-engineered from zebra talismans.
Foreshadowing!
Who wouldn't find Gawd impressive? For one thing, I can tell you for sure that she hasn't survived her life thus far just by luck. For another thing, griffons are very . . . exotic . . . to stable ponies.
Different, and far worse.
Though, on he other hoof, you personally seem to come out fairly ahead on your encounters with Taint. Lucky you.
"No, please, go on. I wouldn't want to interrupt."
It's loyalty. And I'd say more "associates" or "comrades" than "friends."
Being known to be reliable is a good way to make your skills a lot more marketable.
He never claimed he was building much of a today. Some of his propaganda is about why it is necessary to enslave those who will not help of their own free will. So far as I can tell, he never lies if he doesn't have to.
Not unless we really like one side.
But no. Not a Preacher at all, until she becomes so much more.
It's probably best not to trust anything that speaks of "aberrant morality." Not that it really matters two centuries after the fact.
Right. I had forgotten that bit.
Honestly, are you sure you want to know?
I didn't think of it for a while, but eventually I did remember this comment, and wonder why it was never addressed.
Sure, I could turn to Project Horizons for a possible answer, but that doesn't seem quite right.
I doubt they were important anyway.
Guess what? I just learned to do this. I could totally make my comments completely unreadable.

SPOILERS
No, seriously, spoilers.
The violence at the bridge was emblematic of the increasing hostilities between Red Eye and the the raiders of the Equestrian Wasteland.
Imagine being one of the raiders: Red Eye's broadcasts (as seen when the group nears Fillydelphia) are openly threatening, his slavers have been capturing raiders for slaves (as shown with Blood and Daff) and his army has started moving on raider settlements (as it soon does with the raider stronghold at Shattered Hoof). Of course you're going to be a bit twitchy when a group of (supposedly) freelance slavers enters your territory. Maybe it's best to wipe them out, just in case. Whelp, looks like your buddy next to you had the same idea...
I know that pip was magically exhausted for a while, but that doesn't really explain what's wrong with her telekinesis....
did I miss something important(yes, I remember the train), or is something else wrong?
Blues Brothers jokes: Not even once.
Weakened telekinesis, a reason to get a collapsible police baton (which can be held with one hoof) and hoof-held guns.
I know this sounds wrong and means my head is in the gutter but, if she tongued the trigger, does that mean the gunshot is the guns orgasm?
Like I said, heads in the gutter.
Yeah give it a few chapters, im sure well find out where fluttershy fucked up
And next you'll be telling us she's in a white suit. And her gun is called Freeman.
Also, why doesn't Littlepip just give Calamity Velvet's pipbuck and a stealthbuck?
Does Littlepip ever find love? <lip quiver> By my count that's three mares and one griffon she's interested in. Is-is she just a horny teenager or something? Also, Rarity isn't as pretty a LOT of people seem to think.
This is fun, I like where this is going. and when does Littlepip get the rest of her band of merry little ponies together to kick some ass!?
Correction:
aren't (I think, it doesn't make sense with the rest of the statements before and after.)
----------------------------------------------------------
Do you ever have those moments where, you just take your eyes off the computer screen and look blankly at a wall for a few seconds just trying to comprehend what just happened?
Always love a bit of finesse, especially when graceful aim built on a foundation of skill is given... more lucky shots? Little insulting I think.
Love how the story up to now is alluring to the bigger background history of what happened pre-war. Given how small Equestria really is, I can believe a handful of people were involved in everything and would hence be mentioned a lot in passing.
Also, the story has a Spike tag, so possible spoilers?...
2962868 I read the first three words of the spoiler and I'm guessing Rarity caused a lot of problem for Equestria. I haven't finished it yet, please don't spoil. Shut up Rarity! You just want to be something you're not; some-one popular, well known, shallow, you disgust me. She's not even hot, girls like her are a mite (small, copper coins) a dozen.
I like to make a bit of a paraphrasing for this particular quote. "There simply aren't enough facehoofs (palms) in the world to express my feelings"
GENIOUS Kkat! simply marvelous.
I wonder do you intend littlepip to find all six statues of the mane six I guess I need to keep reading
Rarity is pretty gorgeous. Although I'm not sue if she would be flattered or creeped out how much Littlepip was "enjoying" her figurine.
Well, at least they don't usually need doctors...
That's a hell of a firework if you ask me...
It's not the last duet they'll form... If you know what I mean...
Don't worry, they'll notice...
"Scary, but fun", as some other Little Pip said two hundred years before.
Oh my Gawd...
I'm afraid Gawd's barn door doesn't swing that way...
Get used to that, Littlepip...
Littlepip needs to get laid... At least she meets Homage soon enough to not try anything funny with the statuettes...
So far I've noticed that LittlePip is either Bi or Les. Probably Les from the complete lack of male attraction.
Was that a Blues Brothers reference Calamity nearly said? lol
Well then, I've decided to reread this story, and so far, I find this has very good re-readability, in that it does not get tedious. And you spot a lot of foreshadowing and other clues, some of which makes you cringe (i.e. that one where Lilpip wonders if the slaver with the flamethrower was being serious about cannibalism).
Even worse when you hear some of the stuff with the fuller context in mind.
Am spotting a few technical/grammatical errors. Nothing too detracting, in that the meaning is still clear enough, but to anyone who's in the habit of spotting those, it might... get irksome. Still, the story and narrative is more than compelling enough to make up for it (even if the overall package could be better because of those typo).
5717827 I agree! It's been almost a year since I first finished reading this story, and everything just sort of 'clicks' together, know what I mean? So yes, I think it's definitely a good idea to re-read this.
