I like the idea of the Ponies fighting with giant mechs.
However, you need to get an editor. Lots of little typos and other mechanical errors litter the work.
Finally, I think you are giving the Ponies a little too much credit. They can somehow replicate a nanolathe from a single captured construction Kbot, in less than a month... Nevermind how they captured a Kbot the size of a building.
Don't make the Ponies overpowered compared to the ARM and the CORE. If anything, the Ponies should actually be weaker because they haven't had the centuries if not millenia of experience both sides have. However, their magic might even the odds slightly.

Yes I was planning to make the balance of power to be much more in the favor of the other factions, but allow magic to come into play to even the odds. I'm currently working on editing it....

The ponies are using repurposed and redesigned ARM technology, as they captured a ARM construction bot. Intelligence constructs were fast, easy, and already built, so the mechs could get online as fast as possible. Also, they're producing these things quckly, entirely from nanolathe, so it doesn't really make sense to have flesh based pilots. Especially when you only have metal and energy to work with.
That was a long winded speech.
Anyway, how would the ponies summon trolls and whatnot? As far as I can figure out, they live on their own accord in Everfree, only coming out when irritated. And when they do come out, it's not pretty.

Okay, I'll admit, I'd never heard of the game before this but that doesn't really matter because I'm not here to write the story. I'll be able to help with the little typos and everything, and I'll be going over every chapter again during this week. If you haven't read Chapter 8 as of yet, then hold off on it until later today. I actually didn't get a chance to fully look over it because I have been at work all week, but now that my summer job is over I can take some time and get down to editing. Planetary Annihilation was, in fact, based off of the two games, Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander. Supreme commander was based off of Total Annihilation. Total Annihilation was the first ga,e to introduce 3d models for a RTS game, and was very succesful.

I love the story and hope you get back to writing it, but there was in fact a flaw in your knowledge. From what I can gather, the pod is from planetary annihilation. In TA, commanders utilize Galactic Gates to travel to planets. So, here's a thought. What if the armies once battled eachother on equestria long before ponies existed, and a gate was buried in a cave, but was still active, allowing the arm and core commanders to pass through. Like I said, I love the story!
