That was an endearing story! I've always wondered about how they met their pets, too.

If you're curious, I've always considered Fluttershy's pet to be her guardian 'Angel' coming around at a time when she needed balancing to her niceness. As for Pinkie Pie, I attribute Gummy's mental state and Pinkie's gift of laughter to hint at their meeting (she must of tried hard to get some kind of reaction out of the mentally deprived alligator). Rarity...I'm not sure...still thinking about that one.

This story was nice, awesome, and heartwarming. It had great dialogue, and it didn't try to outreach its scope. Plus, the picture line break with the apple vector was AWESOME. It's a rarity to see that kind of thing done correctly. This was, all in all, a 5/5, I should think.
