I needed this, I've been on a Dark binge today...

Ooo, Egypt! I'm very interested.

I'm loving Sandwing already! She's freaking awesome :rainbowdetermined2:

Ok. THIS has my attention.

~Skeeter The Lurker

Interesting start. A little rushed, but I'll overlook that little bit for the landing in the desert.

can't wait to read more. It seems really good so far.:pinkiehappy:

Sorry, glitched. I meant to put the fluttershy yay but I guess it didn't go throught

Now that's a comment!

So deep! So moving!

How can anyone top that?

(It's a joke. Don't take it serious. Please.)

i see one of the tags is romance. possible cameo of floambra and sombrero?

XD i keed ice-pop, about to finish up here at work so i'll have an actual comment for the story later, if i can ever pull myself away from Persona 4 lol

Just don't delete your save file NMM style Toku

2873582

thats why i have 4 save files lol

Now is this (hopefully) Spilight?

The whole "follow the script or die horribly" reminds me of a book I read (but that involved wizards, whales, and the nigh-omnipotent pseudo-deity that made death). I think I'll stick around for this

This was a good chapter. Also, let it be known that I am predicting that Sandwing teaches Twilight about flying, and that they adventure through trap-filled pyramids. If I am wrong, I apologize for my failed predictions, people who read this comment.
Edit: I also can't say the city's name without sounding like a snake. Maybe sentient snakes lived there before the Sphinxes got to the city! xD

Kinda a bit "in your face" introducing so many characters a once for me, but not bad!

Just personal thing, listened to this while reading. At the rate I was reading, it was paced PERFECTLY with the story.

"Who died and made him Sombra?" classic. xD

Definitely digging the story so far, looking forward to more of this one

I'm curious as to how the city's name is pronounced. I can't help but feel I'm pronouncing it wrong.:twilightsheepish:

2964008
You say that like I know how to pronounce it! :rainbowlaugh:

2982236
Technicalities. It's phonetic Arabic for cat-horse. :rainbowlaugh: Or horse-cat, I can't remember the order.

This is like Erin Hunter's "Warriors" series, that one really obscure book series with Snake gods and Egypt and racial tensions, and MLP all rolled into one.

THIS IS AWESOME!

Awww, I really wanted to meet Bloodfeather but wow, cool chapter!

YAY THIS STORY IS ALIVE AGAIN :pinkiehappy:

Gettin gewd!

The names DO remind me of that series. xD
And yes, it is pretty awesome.

I suspect there's some rather... important subtext of the skydance

"It should be uneventful," Sandwing assured him.

WARNING!!! TEMPTING FATE DETECTED! TACTICAL MURPHY INBOUND!

Oh dear, what have you got yourself into Twilight? XD

3788793

You did, you did. :rainbowlaugh: (Kinda surprised you were the only one)

3788858 Me too, but I think it's more likely that I'm just the only one who commented on it

I knew it! Haha, but what a cool way to mate, trusting your partner so fully in the drop not to pull away, I thought it would be a literal dance in the sky, but this is better!

lol nice chapter

Needless to say, I might be a bit late, but I just found this and figured I might as well comment every so often. I like the story as of yet (wonder why.), keep up the good work.

This is a great story. I like the culture that you've created for the sphinx. The Skydance, the economy, and the way the city is divided. :yay::yay::yay:

Keep up the great work.
