If twilight can heal his ankle in an instant, why did he wait 6 months in canterlot when celestia, a GOD, could have done the same thing just as easily if not more so. Also it seems his relationship with fluttershy is way out of wack. First she's to timid around him to talk with confidence, next thing you know she's holding him like he was angle the bunny fighting the stick dogs. You gotta pace yourself and build on relationships before you can go for these types of moments. Also for a ten year old he's crazy brave to go fight the dogs. And he knows how to use a sword. And the sword is probably at least 2 feet taller than him. :P

This is the author's way to further develop the bond between him and fluttershy very quickly, albeit a little poorly.
