BOOK II: EXODUS
|*| Mind you, they got it right about the dawn |*|
The part where each tribe moved their pawn.
Those three thrones: all crowns, no Kings
Departed from their empty springs
While that darling little season summer
Led them like a marching drummer
As the call of autumn filled their sails,
Winter danced, and pulled their tails.
Awesome art! Can't wait for book two!

You won't have to wait long.
And, just so you know, you basically inspired the first song of Book II
"so the Wide-Eyed Idealist, the bound mercenary, and the religious zealot are now a group...interesting, this should be good... "
I managed to save all those old comments before Sola collapsed in on itself.
So don't worry, I remembered your complaints about our newest character (See her? Next to the OC tag ).
Here I am expecting an adventure, and I get a riddle! Or a poem. But really, both. I see you're keeping the next installment under wraps, well

Hehe, sorry.
I look forward to chapter seven!

I know that was a tease But don't unfasten your seat belt just yet, Sykey-wikey.
I started the final edit for all 17,000 words of Chapter 7 this morning. And its epic... you know, in my "opinion".
(And I'd be done if I hadn't been distracted by the chance to set the record for the most views ever gotten in one day ever!)
...personal record, that is.
Oh, and just in case it wasn't clear: this poem was written to follow the one under BOOK I: GENESIS.
And I was so proud of it that I found the guts to give it its own post, and wreak havoc on my OCD. (Jesus! Chapter 7 will be in the 8th slot! )
Yes! There's nothing like the promise of more 'Begin Again' to start the day.

Get a bowl of Fruity Pebbles, and cancel everything. It's coming.
3211669 I can't wait. It's been great seeing what you've done so far.
3210185 Ah, I can understand your pain. Every chapter, forever more, off by one little digit... but this little chapter/poem has certainly gotten us vultures circling you, ready to dive into Gracie's world once more! The song, once again, goes well with the vibe I *personally* get from that epic drawing alongside your words, so I can't say you had any reason not to do this. And I really am looking forward to this chapter if the author himself claims it to be amazing! Please, go ahead and take as long as you need to finish it up... provided you get 'er done now. Just Kidding!
But... but this means the chapter's gonna come out when I'm at school! HOW CAN I DROP EVERYTHING WHEN I HAVE NO COMPUTER!? GGRRRRRRRR--

Oh yeah, totally fine. I can't wait to read your rhetoric, esomewA! Take your time, and enjoy that warm fuzzy feeling of knowing we're probably going to
tear apart-make love to-discuss your work within twenty four hours of its posting!~Fluttersyke
I know you can't see it, but my hooves were crossed there. Deadlines are the bane of my existence.
Stoked for the second book!
Keep up the awesome writing. C:
After reading all currently existing portions of this story, I can safely say that this is quite possibly one of the greatest stories I've ever read. The story is wonderfully told, the characters are interesting, and the words used would make an English teacher weep tears of joy. In some stories that use such forms of writing, the story gets bogged down in all the poetry and prose. But here, it takes an already wonderful story and turns it into a work of art; indeed, this story may well be the Sistine Chapel of Fallout Equestria fics.
I do apologize if you're drowning in my sea of praise. I just felt I should voice my opinion and let you know just how good a job you're doing.

Whoa. I think that actually knocked the ego out of me.
I'd usually respond to that kind of comment by adjusting my collar and going: "You're right. I am pretty great."
But I really felt that. So thank you. This was... I think the word is 'humbling'. (let's see how long that lasts)
Now, I usually end up spending a little too much time rolling in the mud here on FIMfiction, so I'm going to get back to editing Chapter 7 now. (I'm on page 9... out of 23 pages!) I'd hate to make all you beautiful people wait much longer.
But, at the same time, this motherfucker isn't going anywhere until its perfect.
I have a lot to live up to. Y'know... since I'm the best. (not long)
EDIT: 4 hours later, and I'm on page 12 (Out of 22 pages now. Chopped out almost 3,000 words so far. I'm going Butcher Pete on this mother.) Keep your lights on New York, it's going to be a long night!
3220116 Gawd darnit Awesome! You give me a notification, a message, a vision of a new, glorious chapter. You give me hope, that we might take up Grace's adventure once more in the name of all that is righteous and beautiful... then you turn right around and burn my dreams to the ground!
You know me, take as many extra days as you darn well please until those words ring true with you. I just felt the need to harass some poor, unsuspecting wordsmith. I'm going to go find a life.

This chapter is so good, tho.
I'm so lucky I get to read it. Again and again.... (And again and again and again )
(Seriously, though: I lopped 5,000 words out of the belly of this beast. And didn't stitch it back together quite right.)
Here's something to help curb your enthusiasm: You will never have worked so hard to find a mistake in your life.
And you've got Y1 breathing down your neck to boot. Hell, you ought to be terrified.
3235233 Ha! I don't work to find problems with what you write! I read, and in return for your awesomeness, mark down any trivial little typos that I come across. I'm not sure its humanly possible to put something completely error-free out with only a single pair of eyes looking at it, but gosh darn it if you aren't trying! As for Y1, I welcome his assistance in this endeavor! Which I meant to say a few comments ago... and sort of forgot. Sorry, too many .gifs of Hades to laugh at.
Y1 read: Ready for round 2?
Also,
That feel bro, I know it. Doesn't it suck?
One day, when you're a published author and wooing all forms of social media with your prose, you'll find it in your heart to forgive Grace for making you read the same paragraph a thousand times, over and over and over again looking for that one little problem... probably.
Oi! What happened to the new chapter? I was planning on reading that tonight.
