A My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic/ Sonic the Hedgehog crossover
WARNING!!! Contains big spoilers from the Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) game, as well as a few comic references.
This story contains no crazy crossover shippings, (although strong friendships are formed,) and is my attempt at creating a decent MLP/ Sonic crossover that does well at presenting both universes both with accuracy and depth. I have also tried to keep this so that it is as close to canon as possible for both worlds, although I naturally elaborated on some things.
When Twilight Sparkle and her friends are sent to go to the strange world of Mobius to defeat an ancient evil, they end up encountering a strange, spiky blue creature named Sonic. The ponies easily make friends with Sonic, but soon find that not all of the people on Mobius are friendly. Mysterious events lead to misunderstandings, while an evil villain known as Dr. Eggman is setting his eyes on Equestria as his new target.
And amidst all of this lies a great mystery, a mystery that will shed some shocking revelations on how Equestria and Mobius share a great deal of history, on the origins of the being called Solaris, and on a dark threat that both worlds know all too well.
Other than the listed characters, you will get to see the Cutie Mark Crusaders and a good deal of background ponies share in the adventure, and a bit of Discord, as well as a great deal of short appearances by other .
Aw, don't worry about it...besides two words for the CMC...Sonic and Tails. I mean if they can learn from them maybe it could help them in the long run.
Other than that this is a great storyline starter so far. I wish to encourage you upon such an idea like this one.

Yeah... that is pretty true.
When I first heard of the Sweetie Bot meme, the first thing I thought of was Eggman roboticizing her. So I figured I'd find a way to stick that in.
This is a pretty good story so far. Other than a few spelling mistakes and grammer errors there is nothing wrong with it. I mean i have a few personal dislikes with the story, but they don't make me hate it.
I also like how your using the arhcie comics as a base along with Sonic 06 (worst sonic game ever by the way). I thought i was the only one who was using the archie characters.

I know, the '06 game was pretty controversial. In it's defense, I think that it was intended to be a lot better, and was simply rushed to meet a deadline rather than given the time and care it needed.
The main reason I used that game as the basis for the story was that it incorporates an evil dark force and a sun god, similarities I could tie together with MLP.
By the way, if you do notice spelling errors, please notify me. I would prefer to correct them.
So let me get this straight Twilight and Silver are trapped on the moon and neither Celestia nor Luna notice?
2870413As A Canterlot Wedding showed, neither Luna nor Celestia is all-knowing. And since we see that Celestia doesn't actually have to go to the sun to move it, the same is probably true of Luna and the moon. So unless they have super-telescope vision, they probably wouldn't see them. And I assume Luna is in no hurry to visit the moon again any time soon.
Two things first I take back the comment from the earlier chapter and second... Equestria is doomed.
Knowing Eggman, he surely has anticipated Celestia´s reaction and developed countermeasures, like an special bot resistant to her magic, or a special energy jail... or simply taken some Ponyvillians as puppets/hostages.
Pinkie stole the Death Star plans?! WHAT THE HELL! This is why I'm against the ponies having super forms, they get way to OP. I mean even the Mobians have limits to what they can do.

You know why they seem overpowered? Because they are. I have a bad habit of doing this. Super-powerful ponies just seem cool to me. But then, I tend to do this to everyone, so it kind of evens out in the end.
And anyways, Pinkie's fourth-wall breaking ability made this possible. (Meaning that I wrote that part at party-cannon-point.)
Actually, if all honesty, that was the one part of the story I didn't exactly care for. That was a bit OPed even for me. But I just couldn't resist the idea of how funny it was.
(Plus I had a party cannon aimed at my head at the time.)

2890854 I'm thinking of making a sequel, and yes, both Chrysalis and Metal Sonic will be playing a big role. Specifically, the Metal Sonic model from Sonic Heroes who was also capable of shapeshifting. But the story probably won't be ready for quite a while, so you might have to wait a bit.
In the meantime, don't trust anypony... the Changelings are everywhere....

2890888 Why stop with just Rainbow Dash? You know how Eggman is. When he has enemies, first he throws a giant robot or two at them. And if that doesn't work, he builds robot duplicates.
And combining that with Changelings, the sequel is planned to deal a lot with duplicates.

2895526 Thanks! Actually, the reason I wrote this was because I thought the same thing about it being hard to find good crossovers. I have a sequel planned for the future. It may be a while before it comes out, but I already have quite a bit of it planned out.

But I'd be willing to research it online for some of the info. Although hopefully I can just play the game instead.
Also, I've never gotten to play Sonic Generations, which is such a shame, because it looked really awesome, and because somepony made a mod so that you can play as Rainbow Dash!
The problem is, there are so many great concepts in both MLP and Sonic that it's hard to choose which ones to use. Odds are I'll probably do a few smaller spin-off stories to cover the material I couldn't fit in the bigger ones. It could be fun to do something with Nightmare Night, or the Black Arms.
I'll keep your suggestion in mind. After all, I know at least one pony who would be overjoyed to meet some Wisps, and it would be pretty cool to see her take up a more influential role in the stories.
