Okay, full disclosure? I sort of feel for Tactical. It seems clear to me that the entire reason she wants the throne is the perception that once she's there, she doesn't have to do all this politicking and commanding. You know, all that stuff she hates doing because she's not any good at it, and knows she's not any good at it, but is stuck doing it because it's her duty.
Look at her mark. She's not meant to be a diplomat, or an officer. She's an explorer!

Well, it's just that this weather report says otherwise, although upon taking a closer look, it does seem rather suspect. For starters, the signature is just a failed game of Hangman, where the code phrase seems to be "BATTLE _EADY."
I'd say there's foul work afoot, and we should at once seek out and inform this Eady character that their life may be in danger.
