I was actually hoping for a continuation of the movie that was like this, had hard time getting to sleep decided to see if there are any updates and bam, hope answered, although you would think that due to the bizarrely accurate guess about twilight would suggest that she was eavesdropping on Twilight and Spike and would have heard that the portal opens every 30 moons.
This is certainly interesting, I have high hopes for this.

I hate to point things about awesome stories but I have to say it. Pinkie Pie wouldn't have to wait years to see Twilight again, in the movie Luna said that the portal open every thirty moons, which mean every months. Pinkie would have to wait something like four weeks and two days before seeing Twiligh again.

when writing this story, I took the assumption that thrity moons means thirty full moons. Thus why when the portal closed, the moon was full, and the moon appears full for about three days.

This fic really only works with Pinkie, the others would be smart enough not to play around with the mysterious void to another world. Of course Pinkie just went in randomly, one wonders if she's got the full three days or maybe a little less.
