How is it going? My name is Wishful Thinking, and I wanna be a famous actor. Something only slightly hampered by the fact I'm an ex-con who broke his parole in the Griffin Kingdom, but what are ya gonna do?
Well for starters while eluding the ever lovely Gale I somehow ended up on a trip to this small town called Ponyville along with this purple unicorn that seems to be too busy to stop and let me off. Not that I'm complaining.
I guess I can at least stay here for the summer sun celebration. I mean, what's the worst that's gonna happen?
If this story continues I will swap the Adventure Tag for Slice of Life.
Also the image is pretty much static because I have no pic with Wishful nor do I want one unless I get serious about this.
Also if this is done I do plan on a entire Sparity thing since it was what Backfire was originally about.

3125696 I will. My issue is finding time and not just gaming during it. I could post the next chapter now but I felt it needed Wish meeting at least one more pony in the mane six and having a bit more time to establish a friendship with Twilight since the point of Friendship is Magic is that the mane 6 at first were only friends with Twilight and became best friends over time. And considering Wish is a guy and his own hang ups I think it needs a bit more of a push since he wouldn't give a crap if Nightmare Moon ruled the world as you could guess from how he was raised.

Kinda hard in first person, but I do plan to skip episodes he need not be in and be minor in others. For example I'm planning a chapter where he is looking for a job and his own place while all but Rarity are busy with Applebuck season.
And some eps like cutie pox and may the best pet win will be combined if mentioned at all.
Most of my ideas where it would need to focus on him would be like Mare Do Well since he can't be part of the plan but everyone is in it so hopefully by then I have an editor to pull off him teaching all six of them a lesson while keeping the parody
Sorry I can't help with a goal for Wishful to complete on his way but, for a romance of sorts I believe Twilight even though she is quite mad at him at the moment or Dash. Twilight for her understanding of others and Dash so far how you have portraited her so far in this story.
3271608 That can sort of work, but since I need to lead up to "Princess Twilight" I need to keep Twilight's night at the gala unchanged since that is actually part of her princess training. It's the main reason I wanna either give Wish a different love interest I can slowly move on or a different goal. Luckily I have gotten around this date issue plan wise, I just hope it isn't too much since it will be a very hard convincing thing to write when it comes up in the slice of life stuff.
My goal friend wise with each of the mane 6 is that Wish is friends with them on different types, as such I didn't exactly want a romance off the bat. But since I am going to be doing Sparity when it finally makes sense in the story and at least one the Mane 6 pairings, I figured it wouldn't be a big deal.
You guessed right somewhat with Twilight, though I wanna see how I progress it myself honestly. My plans involve a romance between them because of the original story I made (if you never read backfire that is where I originally came out with Wishful though he has changed a lot since and actually has some character now) but as I go it may change since that's what happens with my other stories. For now they are just starting out being friends though and I can say they don't actually have a love feeling so it's still up in the air.
