The inspiration for this came when re-watching S1 E23 "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" and thinking, "What if it affected other ponies too, but not in a good way."
What started off as a passing thought turned into an OC which eventually turned into this ongoing story.
This is the story of a young stallion trying to ease his way back into living in a town, but when his plan is burst wide open, and his secrets dragged out by an inquisitive Twilight Sparkle and her friends, he's got to learn to forgive and forget if he wants to move on and make some lasting friendships. This doesn't help when he is terrified of one of the ponies trying to help him. Yeah, he's afraid of rainbows, and its all her fault.

And circumstantial evidence in the show suggests that alicorns, while certainly very rare, exist in numbers greater then three (or four). Like for one, no one was freaking the fuck out that Twilight's brother was sufficiently lucky enough to catch the eye of one of the three living goddesses or anything crazy like that, and IIRC the Hearts and Hooves day episode had an Alicorn mentioned in the Love Poison book, complete with a little illustration.

The only reason I can conceive of for Celestia not having come down upon you like the hoof of an angry goddess, is either the ponies fucked over by you usually die, so she simply hasn't heard of your little merry pit of festering hatred (yet), or you're constantly sucking her metaphorical dick as a bribe to prevent her from utterly scattering your community to the four winds.
Haha, irony. Although I must say that a chain link fence in Equestria confuses me slightly, if it is in the show, my bad. But still, for that to be an option for cities/towns to have would require a nicely developed industry....
