Sweet Breeze is a suicide hotline operator. She's worked at this place for five years, and not once has she lost someone. Some she even talks to often and meets for lunch, she's gone to weddings of those she's saved, she's been to birthday parties, she's been to graduations. Every time she does, she feels her heart swell with pride, knowing that she's the reason that they're still alive; that they're happy.
Unfortunately, she has to learn that there are some ponies she just can't save.

Holy crackers this story is good can't wait for more of it.

2785436 Thanks! I don't know if I'll do a follow-up, but I will write more stories featuring my OC.

This story has a series of tags that would have never caught my eye. I would have never read it. Then, I read the description and a seed of interest was planted. Against my own judgement, I opened the story and dove in. Imagine my surprise when I finished the story and craved more. You have taken a series of tags, normally blacklisted in my eyes, and wove it into a story I couldn't help but upvote. Well done!

2787983 Wow, thanks! I'm glad I hooked you in! :yay:

Beautiful story! I'm hooked!

2888837 Great! I also have a follow-up to this one.

I noticed you didn't use "em dashes" when needed, but I liked this story nonetheless. HAve you talked to a suicide hoteline operator/been employed/volunteered as one before?

2915450 you did a very good job of acting like one for this story.
