A bit confusing at first, but I liked it

:derpyderp2:Thanks for pointing that out. I got the two meanings confused. I've corrected that now.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and yes, it was the one and only. :rainbowdetermined2:

Every tree within a one-mile radius was now vertical

They usually are, vertical means up and down. Horizontal means side to side. I think you were looking for "Diagonal" which is between the two.

Fun story, just a trifle.

:facehoof: The things that get past me... Thanks for pointing that out. I've now fixed this, though I meant horizontal rather than diagonal because the blast completely flattened them. I also deleted a couple of comments of yours because they were one comment posted three times.

Thanks. I usually delete my own boo boos but the fimfiction server was being wonky on me.

I've modified this from Overkill to The Campaign for Extra Trixie and other experiments because I liked these segments. I didn't know whether to post them separately or together, but I liked the idea of having a little corner for flash fictions (if that's the correct term - I sometimes get them confused with short stories), so here they are.

I've been a little inactive recently. This is partly because I'm reading other fanfics (and reading in general), partly because of life in general, and partly because I'm toying with a few ideas and I don't want them published until I've got all the bugs worked out. In the meantime, happy reading!

Sounds good to me! Where do I sign up?

:rainbowhuh:Recently, I've moved a chapter from here and re-posted it as a separate story in its own right. I liked it too much for it to remain comparatively obscure among these little experiments. The story is, or will be (depending on when you read this), Dare To Be Awesome, a Daring Do short. I thought I'd post this in case old readers wondered why I'd suddenly dropped a chapter.

I'm moving another chapter from here again. It's going to be One Apple Short, formerly "Saddle On Up, It's Going To Be A Big One". As it's going to be a random, don't expect it to be serious. Again, this is just a heads-up in case people wonder why this has dropped by another chapter.:unsuresweetie:

In my defence, I did tag this as Random, so WYSIWYG. That said... :applejackunsure: I'll admit it's not my best work, as it was acting mostly as a characterization exercise for Bonbon. :ajsleepy:

I was thinking (a dangerous pastime, I know): the submission rules state that multi-story, uh, stories aren't permitted. I've already removed a couple of chapters from here and posted them as separate stories. Should I take all but one down, since this seems to violate the rule, or should I leave it as it is, since there are precedents that haven't been removed?:derpyderp1:

EDIT: Since nobody's made a fuss over it, and there are precedents, I'll leave it. - 30th July 2012

Oof. Berry Punch lost a lot of money here.

How does one explain the bizarre events of Games Ponies Play? With alcohol-based spa products, of course.

This was never going to be a full story, so I put it up here as a short story about Ester and Cinnamon White, the proprietors of the spa we saw in that episode. I wrote this not long after season three concluded, and only recently rediscovered it while cleaning up my files. Basically, I got the inspiration when I learned that alcohol-based gem polish actually exists, as does alcohol in perfumes. Put the two together, and whaddayagot?

:twilightoops: Oops! Thanks for the catch. I've corrected it now.

Honestly, I might as well just mark this as complete and bid it good day. I have no intention of adding to it, at this point.
