There is only one solution to get Twilight to see Emerald again: have Twi go to an alternate world with Rarity and Emerald still in there, but without anyone trying to kill her. Also, congratulations on getting featured!

Twilight and company's total apathy towards what Twilight does in these other worlds doesn't speak highly of any of them. I wonder if there will be consequences, or if she will continue to run rampant whenever she decides to change something she doesn't like on a whim. Perhaps, but that only excuses Twilight herself, and even then not very well. Celestia and Luna were all too dismissive of the potential problems for the last world Twilight could create through her actions. All three of them appear to me very cold to anyone not in their own family unit. I don't recall if Cadence is like that. At the end of the day I suppose they see themselves above such matters.

4410376 I wonder if part of that is the perspective immortality gives you and the psychological defenses you'd have to erect to maintain sanity for so long. At some point you might put your own immortal family group and normal ponies in different categories, even if only subconsciously, so that the blows from constant death is softened. If that's the case, compartmentalizing different worlds would be an easy extension of that mental system.

I'm damn happy loyal has been churning out these chapters so often, so while I'm very fond of moonstone and cannot wait for the continuation of that story, the archmage tale will probably always be my favorite. S.A.N. has been really awesome! Can't wait for the next world

Not from the overall plot to Archmage. They were a dalliance, and a bit of exposition. Nothing major happened in the actual world Twilight inhabits.

Well then. . . I'm actually very sad that this particular arc came to an end. . . You know this gives me a great idea! We could turn this into a group! We can call it "Archmage: Tales Through the Mirror". I'd love to see other writer's takes on the mythos of this universe, seeing as we already established the laws and nature of Magic it would be quite easy to unify. You could also, y'know explore around with the alternate versions of this "Root" universe. I'd love to see a story where Twi-ahem, Dusk stayed after she was nearly assassinated. I loved her and Emerald's chemistry.(Maybe have Dusk and Emerald live happy lives and when Twilight returns only a month has passed and she and Luna will have some great bed-wrecking, sheet soiling, several days long sex) This arc would actually be a great standalone story, I'd love to write it, but unfortunately with my backlog of thirty or so stories, along with my update pace I imagine it'd be 25 years before I even get to it.

Also, what will we see next? Something akin to the Lunaverse?
