2795141 I know, I really wanted to take that somewhere, but it's just really hard. I like following the protagonist day by day as they start to accept their new role, and for pregnancy elements you really need like a "SEVEN MONTHS LATER" time jump which sort of ruins the flow.

But if it makes you feel any better, in this story line I totally have them set to have kids. The clop scene that takes place right after the story ends is supposed to result in a pregnancy. I was actually going to include another scene and bring that up, but it ended up feeling too tacked on so I cut the story where it ends now. But yeah, it totally happens in this universe

Human Cadence was later arrested for showing in public, fined 4000 in court for the offense and later added another 6000 for various. Two days after the court she is again arrested, this time for assaulting an officer and spend a week in jail plus another 10000. She is evicted during that time because she had no money for rent and including bills and fines she's now indebted 24000 with no means to pay. Dumped on the streets she starts stealing and robbing to get food for the day, where she one month later get's arrested at a bank robbery and spend six months in jail.

The down spiral continues in jail and multiple sessions in isolation plus several fights keeps her inside for another year before she's let out. After said jail time the first thing she did was drink herself (himself) plastered, found a knife somewhere and somehow killed four people before he passed out. Got lifetime in jail.

This is now one of my top 5 favorite fics or clop fics or whatever you get the point.

You know I wish I could do what twisted spectrum does. And that is to make awesome stories I mean hell royal duties awesome five score divided by four awesome.

Ending was a bit abrupt, and I find it hard to believe Cadance was as bitchy as Shiny was describing her. I had the impression she kept up a nice solid facade around others until this last bit, actually. Would've been more emotional if Shiny had to come to terms with his wife being a total bitch in the few moments he had to decide which one to toss back through the portal.

Also half-expected the hero of the story to open the portal and see Cadance wearing an orange jumpsuit and say "Yeah-fuckno." right there.

All told, not a bad bit of clop, but it could've been a little better. This last chapter especially seemed really rushed, and it doesn't look like you even ran it past the pre-readers. Ah well, this being done means we get the next chapter of Five Score, which is good.

Yeah, a time skip would ruin the flow. Also, not sure if you knew this, but equine pregnancy is eleven months, not nine, so seven months would probably be a bit short for a time skip in this circumstance.

This was an utterly, utterly bizarre story. And yeah, I loved it.

The protagonist's willingness to accept such a massive, unexpected change in his life and learn to find joy in an existence he never wanted is a good theme, I think. A lot of stuff happens to us in life that we can't predict or control, but by and large we still have plenty of opportunities to be happy if we can simply accept it. Getting turned into a girl, and a pony no less... well, is that such a bad thing really? You're just exchanging one set of genitalia for another. General rule of thumb for life: If it makes you happy and it hurts no-one, just roll with it.

The only sticking point that bugs me a bit is Old Cadence. It's true that she's pretty massively out of character, but I can file that under suspension of disbelief because it's pretty much the premise of the whole fic; if Cadence isn't a bitch, the story doesn't work. That's not really what she's like, but I can accept it as a 'what-if' so that we can have a story at all. The thing that WOULD actually bother me in the protag's shoes is the moral ambiguity of assuming Cadence's role just like that; whether she was a bitch or not, whether she ran off or not, it was still HER life and I'm not so sure about just taking it from her and leaving her stranded.

Still, overall I thoroughly approve of this story and the direction it took. Transformation stories are always fascinating, and I do love me some good feels / happy endings, which were certainly provided here.

nice story if you ever decided it could be even better with a possible sequel but the choice is ultimately yours to make in that regards i am just giving my opinion

Omg you hate Cadance; why was Cadance so OOC !?!?

She has the be, the story literally wouldn't have made any sense if she was a perfect loving pony. I wanted to make a clopfic where there is a forced TF/TG and the protagonist is dumped in Equestria and suddenly has to play the role of wife and not let anyone know what happened. For that to happen, Cadance has to be pretty damn mean, I mean...
- She had to be mean enough to leave her husband for a few days without even leaving him a note telling him that a human was taking her place.
- She had to be mean enough to steal some poor human's body without asking if he wanted to be a pony.
- She had to be mean enough that Shining (and Celestia) would tell the protagonist that he should keep her body and replace her.
- She had to be mean enough that the protagonist wouldn't feel totally horrible for just outright stealing her body and her life!

So yeah, I mean literally the entire story requires the former wife to be pretty cold hearted. On reflection, I should have just used an OC instead of Cadance. I suppose that would have made much more sense. But I don't know, personally I wouldn't have found an OC couple as interesting as using the canon couple, but from your replies I'm thinking making Cadance so OOC might have been a slight mistake

Rarity probably mentioned one day how Sweetie Bell was taking acting classes (slight FiW reference btw, Sweetie following in Rarity's footsteps) so Celestia sent her a letter asking if she wanted to play a fun role for her.

I'm assuming she started off happy and lovingly, but she got mean over the years. I sort of mention this when Celestia says “I like Cadance, but she’s been so incredibly bitter these past few years.". I guess that infers she wasn't always this mean.
