oh wow what an overly cliché chapter ending the pregnant bride burst her water during her wedding -rolls eyes- couldn't you think of something more original like a swarm of mutated changlings suddenly appear demanding lily to rejoin the hive and take her rightful place as queen.
just kidding this was a pretty good first chapter and even though the water breaking was expected, it just fit with everything else that goes on with their lives.
oh and I just watched the lion king so you can blame that for my seemingly random idea

lol, the stuff I have waiting to be published was written like a month before this story was released. I have the chapter I'm working on now, which is broken into two because it's longer than my usual, then I have another chapter for much further down the road which is very much the same

I think most of the writers (read: people writing in their spare time, not as a general habit) are lucky to be close to done with another chapter every 2-3 weeks. And their probably only working on the one after the last published.

Grammar errors fixed. I'll try to fix the conversation bit too. I had this picture in my head of it cutting back and forth between Brutus asking a question, then the pony Cane was talking to answering that question as though Cane had just asked the same thing, then Cane asking and vice versa. I'll see if I can't find a way to redo it
