He fell so far, his body broken.
A crime so wrong, t'was never spoken.

And all the demons did arise,
To help with the Angel of Death's demise.

And though he suffered a great big fall,
His revenge made short work of them all.

Anger and hate showed in his stride.
His fellow Angels had nowhere to hide.

The Angel of Death was his name,
His father ripped off his wings to make him tame.

WILL read later, seems freaking epic!

Damn I never realized that Mar is so BADASS but this:yay:

2706808 I tweaked his personality a bit.

2706814 I like the new mar good sir

Ha! Helsing reference in description. :pinkiehappy:

Oh, from the picture I thought this would be a Dark Souls crossover. Artorias is so cool, I want him in Equestria, tainting it with the Abyss.

This is a great back story on what happened to Mar before the Darkness of Love series.

okay i have no idea what this is about and who Mar is.... somebody care to explain?

haven't read it yet but in the description that last bit 'ripped off his wings to make him tame' reminds me of this 'Here stands the Bird of Hermes! Eating my own wings! To keep myself tame'

So, does Mar want just the High Heavens to fall, or does he also want the destruction of the Burning Hells? The way that it sounds, he wants both to happen, however it seems that the destruction of the High Heavens take priority over the destruction of the Burning Hells.

Also, Mar's resolve is far stronger than the daemons. Plus, look at the odds. A low level daemon is fighting against a high ranking ex-angel. Not only is he a high ranking, and therefore very powerful, ex-angel, but he is the ANGEL OF DEATH. What kind of dumb ass thinks they ACTUALLY THINKS that they can kill deaths physical form?

2710003 The general law of the Angels in my mind is that if one wing is removed, their strength and power are reduced to half, if both are removed, they're little better than a mortal. What they don't know is that something else holds Mar's power within him, and therefore, he's retained some of his strength. But I won't say who or what.

Although this story is an original idea, whenever I think of angels and daemons I think about Diablo III because I was playing it recently. For example, Mar reminds me of Tyreal. Both were powerful angels. Both had their wings removed, and the removal of their wings made them mortal. Both fell with their sword. If the pattern continues, my guess is going to be that Mar's sword holds a portion of his angelic power.

oh ..... SHIT THAT WAS EPIC:moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache:
