Following the recent death of Darth Sidious, the remnants of the evil Empire are scattered and blind, struggling to quell the uprisings taking place along the core and outer rims. Meanwhile, an Alliance Corellian Corvette scours the edge of the galaxy, patrolling for any evidence of Imperial activity. However, what the small band of freedom fighters don't realize is that they're about to happen upon an astonishing discovery, one that will forever change the fate of them and the inhabitants of this strange new world.

First off, I'm a huge Star Wars geek so get ready for a nerd-bag surprise. Second off . . . well, I LOVE STAR WARS! :twistnerd:

Is magic The Force? :raritywink:

Seriously, it's too soon to assess this story. You've barely scratched the surface and we aren't really even through the setup yet.

2632867-There probably wont be any Jedi landing in Equestria, but the Rebels and the Imperials will most likely see the use of magic as the force. After all, there are many non-human races in the galaxy that already have mastered the force. What's one more planet in a universe full of 'em?

Interesting. I'm interested to see where this goes.
Liked and Faved, Eagerly awaiting more.

Hey all, this is sort of a mini chapter I'm going to be releasing because I'm going to be busy for a while and wont be able to post much.

By the way, for those of you who don't know what a Corellian Corvette is:

Cool! I freaking LOVE Star Wars! We're gonna need the main heroes like Luke and Han. If no Jedi, then at least Han and Chewie. Can't stand not seeing Fluttershy cuddling that big fuzzball.

2638709-Maybe not that main . . . maybe Kyle Katarn or Wedge Antilles leading rouge squadron over the planet.

The CR-90 is a pretty big machine; about the size of an Earth naval destroyer. Assuming that this was a relatively controlled landing (the computers if nothing else, using the repulsorlifts to brake the descent) she still would have left a pretty dramatic scar running through the Everfree until 'lithobraking' (to use the wonderful NASA term) finally brought it to a halt.

She's a huge cultural contamination issue though - a hypermatter reactor, at least one functioning dual turbolaser as well a the anti-fighter lasers, at least one tractor beam generator and also all the crew equipment.

2641761-Despite the fact that two of the engines were shot out in space, the explosion from when the engine port hit the ground would have probably fried just about everything on board, save a few lucky rebels. Cultural contamination wouldn't be too much of a problem, as most of the personal belongings and technical equipment was destroyed in the crash.

Yeah! I'm back baby!

I've decided that these chapters don't have to be five thousand words long, so now I'm going to release them a little shorter.(Unless you don't want them to be.)

Let's just hope that no-one starts shooting first and leaving 'questions' to some distant, undefined point in the future.

I hope Zecora's hut wasn't in the path of the crash. If she survived, she would definitely take notice of a burning hunk of metal nearby.
