2962097 I don't personally think clop ruins a story, but ymmv~ I was considering expanding on the Frost Dragon issue, but eh.
2962101 Well, it wasn't ruined, per se. More like neither helped the other succeed. There's a good premise/gimmick for a good, shameless clop story, and then there's the nice Frost Dragon arc that you set up. Either one would stand alone, but together it feels like there's a bit of a cognitive dissonance.
Of course now that I say this, I'm imagining an entire story this way... wrapping an entire adventure, start to finish, in lots and lots of sex, but keeping the two parts separate from each other. Keep all of the usual character building, humor, action, betrayal and redemption, and the whole time they're all just rutting each other in the background.
This is obviously a perfect idea.
I can't write a sex scene to save my life, so I couldn't do this premise justice. But someone ought to.
2962114 That's something I'd probably like to do, but I wouldn't even be able to throw it in planning stages until after Bronycon due to the massive amount of work that takes. I've been writing more, usually late at night, as a way to de-stress; that's why I put out three stories in a row out of nowhere XD
If you do more of this, you should increase the sexual elements, make them even raunchier, and even less self aware. They should never really take much notice or care of what they're doing to each other.
And everyone else should be completely horrified.
Just a thought.
