This is an experimental fic o'mine. I had the idea for a while, where the human world and the pony world fused into one, and then each human gets one pony as their partner. Y'know, like Digimon.
I just want to see how this goes. Who knows, maybe it'll turn into a nice fic. :3
Anyway, about the fic itself...
Jay is a hardworking farmer, and with his loyal partner Green Field, the duo worked hand-in-hoof day and night to earn a living. The duo however, are not only known for being farmers, but they're also pretty well-known for being one of the best battlers in the world of the ‘Arena’.
The Arena is a magical and exciting competition between two pony trainers, where ponies will try and fight each other while testing their bonds and trusts with their human trainers.
It just so happens that they managed to reach the finals, and today's the day of the championship match.
Jay and Green Fields are up against the undefeated world champion!
Firs-- I mean, I wanted to check on your story, cause it caught my attention, and no other reasons at all.
Oh, so it's like one of those fight I kept seeing in provinces, where, farmers bet on who's chicken shall prevail with a one on one fight with another chicken.
Best battlers, but still are only farmers... That doesn't sound right at all...
Ponies in this story are better be non-setient, or else, it's a crime to force a living, breathing, thinking, just like an ordinary human being, to fight with one another.
Also, I'm going to read the rest. And after that, I'll get back to my thoughts.
EDIT: Well... that was... how should I put it to words... Gah! I'll just say it.
The part where you explained how the two world fused had gave me a headache; I don't why, but it just happened. Also, if we were to see alien beings, trying to fuse their world with ours, what would be the militaries realistic reaction? I'll leave this blank for yah.
Jay and Green Field should be living in luxury if they were known as one of "the best" partners.
About moon banishment: Luna couldn't possibly banish things easily to the moon, even if she is an almighty alicorn. Celestia only succeeded in doing so, because she had the elements of harmony with her.
About the tournament: Don't you think Celestia would disagree about it? I mean, she would watch her precious ponies, fighting with one another as their human partner, stands at a v
certain platform, yelling at the two fighters while they stayed unharmed.
