Discord didn't replace the Author, the Author allowed Discord to take over for the sake of entertainment.
The Author is the last authority in every work of fiction!
But Discord knows this as does Deadpool and after that its gets so horribly meta that nobody can keep a clear sight on what is intentional and what not.
Its confusing as hell but also hilarious.
