Barns and No Bell is a reference to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Micro Series Comic #1: Twilight Sparkle. Near the end of the issue, Twilight Sparkle and Spike go to a bookstore called Barns and No Bell, a store based on Barnes and Noble.
