Another great chapter! It seems like they'll figure out who stole the scooter pretty quick at this rate.:yay:

Thanks! :pinkiehappy: Don't be too sure though, a straightforward solution wouldn't be any fun :raritywink:

Seems like a good start so far and I can't wait to see where this leads. Since the scooter was stolen the suspect I have in mind has been Rainbow Dash. My resoning behind it is that she realized that she hadn't packed Scootaloo's lunch and felt sorry about it and decided to make up for it by getting her a new scooter. Which explains why they didn't find any clues at the crime scene because if anypony besides Rainbow Dash had taken it there would have been hoof prints in the dirt around where the scooter had been and they would have been able to follow them. Although with my theory it has to be a Pegasus and Fluttershy is the element of kindness and would never take something with out asking and the only other Pegasus, besides Rainbow Dash, who knew the location was Feather Weight, who may be able to fly on his own (I forget if he flew in the show or not) but he would not be able to fly off while holding onto the scooter. And that is why I believe the one who stole the scooter is Rainbow Dash.
That's just my theory though. I have an intendesy to over think things all the time. Can't wait to see who you have as the scooter stealer. Hope you update soon.

I'm glad you like it :pinkiehappy: and you would make a great detective. However, I never said there weren't hoof prints at the scene. They just weren't mentioned because almost all the ponies in Ponyville have the same style of hooves making identifying one set from another nearly impossible. I heavily considered having a pegasus use this as a technique to steal the scooter, but decided against it.

Another good chapter. Pinkie Pie is being as Pinkie Pie as ever. Now on your thing about hoofprints. If there were hoofprints at the scene they could have followed them and that would have lead them right to whoever stole the scooter. Either way Im looking forward to the next chapter. Hope it comes soon.

:pinkiehappy: I really enjoyed writing Pinkie Pie just because she is the complete opposite of Sherlock.
As for the hoofprints thing, I see the path to and from the clubhouse as a dry dirt path so, unless it rains, it would be impossible to whose hoofprints are whose and where they were going. I probably could have mentioned it better in the second chapter, but I was torn between making the observation and breaking character. If he makes the observation the reader gets it, but at the same time he would be noticing something that every other pony wouldn't think twice about because they just know all their hooves are the same size.

Note: I hope this doesn't sound like arguing, I'm just trying to show why it didn't happen. If there are flaws in my logic please point them out because if Sherlock makes to many illogical decisions the story won't work.

Well, Pinkie Pie pretty much wasted all of his valuable time. Anyway, great chapter! Excited to see where this goes from here.

Fair point. I had hoped that I wasn't sounding like I was arguing. When I write I fuss over every little detail (or so it seams) and if I were writing a Sherlock Fanfiction I would have hoofprinet (or footprints) as a clue but this isn't my Fanfiction so I'm just going to sit back and read what ever you come up with next.

It didn't really sound like an argument I just wanted to make sure it didn't escalate into a flamewar. I appreciate the feedback. Keep leaving awesome comments it could really me with the developing the story.

:pinkiehappy: She sure did. I felt like it was good time for her to be a wrench into the process and completely throw off Sherlock, so I did :twilightsheepish: I would love to see Sherlock become a good enough detective to solve the mystery that is Pinkie Pie. But that's along way off.

Will do. Hope you update soon.

Great chapter. Thankfully my dad isnt like Sherlock's dad. My dad cooks, its my mom that isnt the best but shes nowhere as bad as Sherlock's. Cant wait for the next update.

Thanks! And yea It thought his Dad's cooking was a good way of explaining the "get done before dark" thing instead of just saying its scary at night. Also made for some easy jokes :twilightsheepish:

Yeah parents cooking is either something you look forward to or fear. My dad is a good cook Hes just not home much. But the only time iIve ever heard of him messing up was one thanksgiving he acidently made the gravy with powdered sugar instead if flour. But he only did that because my mom acidently switched where the powdered sugar and the flour were.

Hahahaha oh my god, that's hilarious! Sucks about your dad though. My dad isn't home much either, he travels a lot for work. Both of my parents can cook pretty well, its just finding the time to cook is hard for them. But its ok, now I'm starting to get better at cooking. I make a pretty mean sandwich.

Great work! Keep it up :)
