So I am assuming the portal leads to Earth. And since Changlings live on 'the magic of love' wouldn't they starve to death here?
I mean sure there are tons of good people but in Equestria there are no wars and people don't hate each other all the time. And besides on Earth there is no magic so there wouldn't even by a magic of love to feed on.

This was originally just an experiment. I did brainstorm something of a follow-up story, but I'm one of those people with a ton of hastily-scribbled outlines hanging around my GDocs, so it can be tough to choose. I'll make an effort to revisit this concept in the future.
