I feel pretty sad about the situation. I'm glad that she didn't hit Ruby and at least gave her some money for food. Berry is probably mad at herself, and taking it out on the world. I don't believe she'll stick to her words at the end but there does feel to be some hope. I hate that this happens anywhere, fictional universes or not. My moral compass aside it was a good story.
