*Author's Note* As the short description says, DO NOT read this story if you haven't read "The 5th Great Ninja/Pony War". It won't make any sense to you. I had a list of spoilers up here from the first book giving you a summary of what happened, but took it down due to many hateful messages. If you don't want to read the prequel and would prefer to just jump right in to this tale, send me a message and I will update you on the current situation in Equestria.

I feel like sasori got damaged needlessly, also kind of feels like the akatsuki arent themselves since they seem to be struggling with weaklings like the ponies.... plot seems thin, but I'm still enjoying the story. Keep up the good work =D
2629023 I agree that the plot may seem "thin", as you say, but that's only because they ARE fighting ponies. The only ones amongst them that really do stand a chance against the Akatsuki are the Princesses; and the weakest among them was killed. I try to keep the story as realistic as possible, so it makes the plot seem thin. No random "hero" moments where a good guy is about to get killed and another good guy comes in to block the strike, or take a bullet. They just die; end of story. In regards to your comment about Sasori being damaged needlessly, well: Sasori was fighting two of them if you recall, and one took half of the Poisoned Senbon Storm. So in keeping with realism, Chief Thunderhooves would've been able to take advantage of Sasori's defenseless moment and take out Hiruko. Trust me when I say Sasori wasn't damaged at all; he just said "Hyah" because he was shocked; like when you might yelp when you get hit from behind and you don't expect it.

2661046 Depends on how large the Push is. When he destroyed the leaf village, it took him five minutes to recover from that one. I guess I should've used more details, but then again, I assumed anyone who would look at this story at all would be a Naruto fan and already know about the jutsus and such. Not saying you didn't, but it is a common error: the Almighty Push can take 5 seconds, 5 minutes, or 5 hours.in the case of the Sage of the Six Paths. And remember, the Almighty Push isn't Nagato's jutsu; it's Yahiko's. So it should be weaker and, in most cases, take longer to recharge than it should because Yahiko is a Water-Release shinboi; whereas Nagato is a Fire-Release shinobi. Even though he has access to all other nature type releases, they will be weaker since they aren't his own.

2814260 Of course it's Yahiko's jutsu! Nagato had the power of the Rinnegan, but didn't develop any of his own jutsu beyond the use of the Paths. Yahiko had the ability to manipulate gravitational forces, not Nagato. The Almighty Push is just a variant that Nagato used himself, since he now had control of Yahiko's body. Of course I did see when he was revived by Edo Tensei, but that doesn't prove anything! Think about it: Nagato can't transfer any of his own abilities to the other Paths, otherwise the Human Path would be able to use the Almighty Push; which it can't! After he gained control of the other Paths' bodies and began to use their own jutsus, I'm sure he actually learned them himself, so upon his revival, he used the Shinra Tensei just because he had learned how to. He does have all nature release types after all, and it's not through his Paths. This means he has the ability to learn any jutsu in the world.

I don`t know if you know but the rinnegan gave the user the principal ability of using the six paths: tendo, Shurado, chikushudo, gaikido, ningendo, and jigoukudo. 
Tendo is the path that can control the gravity and if you DODN`T know yahiko was dead and nagato used his body to create his Pain tendo, yahiko didn`t have the powers of tendo, all that paths are ONLY of the user of the rinnegan so that means Nagato.
Please do a Little research: read BETTER the manga or go to one wiki
2817399 I actually did get my information from Narutopedia. Plus, that's not true what you said about the Rinnegan. It only allows you to revive and control as many people as the Rinnegan allows you (in most cases it's six, but it's possible to control more depending on your power). None of Obito's paths can control gravity, so I don't know where you got that from. It's based on what jutsus the path knew in life. Since Yahiko could manipulate gravitational forces, in death as a path of pain, he could still do that. Same with the other paths, except the animal path (Nagato had to teach that one had to summon all the animals) and the asura path (Nagato had to manually upgrade that one to shoot chakra lasers).

Read that link please and if you go to the section of tendo (deva path) it would explained it to you... The abilitys of the rinnegan are even more than only revive six bodies (by the way I hope you know they aren´t alive but actually corpses that work like puppets for Nagato, all of then are just empty bodies in where Nagato share his soul).
The abilities of the Azura path aren´t implants! please, seriously, read the manga or at least watch the anime right. The Azura path allow the user to SUMMON a mechanic armor for the user, it means you can transform yourself into some kind of android, didn´t you saw when Nagato got that extra arms?!
And about of obito, your kind right but that is because he didn´t use any of the abilities of the Rinnegan with his paths or by himself, why? no one know at the moment

2818819 Interesting link, but the Asura Path 's abilities are implants. His abilities in life were way different. He was a puppet master that fought using sound to debilitate his foes. The chakra lasers were NOT in his body when he was alive. The armor, well, that would also have to be something Nagato put in his body because in life, he was a normal human with zero chakra-based techniques, like Kankuro. Except for his chakra threads, that man just fought with the puppet. Look at Narutopedia; it says that in life, these people were very different from what they became when Nagato used them.
Oh, yes one more thing. Do you remember Wild Water Wave? A jutsu developed and used by Yahiko? Well, the Giant Crustacean summon can use this same ability. That means, according to how Naruto has functioned so far, that summon was Yahiko's. So how does the Animal Path know how to summon it? Even the Animal Path can't summon Gamabunta, for instance. Because that's Naruto's summon! No one can summon the same being while both being alive.

Dude, I know that the Azura path didn´t have his cybernetic stuffs when he was alive, but what you don´t understand is that when Nagato 'create' a Pain he transfer an specific path to the body, that means that, even when in live the Azura path didn´t have the powers of the Rinnegan, now it have them. Also what you don´t understand is that the power of Azura allow the user to transform himself in a cyborg of some kind directly summoning the armor (with that I mean a new mechanic 'body', he can basically replace his inner body with machinery or extra limbs, look when naruto destroy the Azura path).
And of course Nagato can use chakra based technics! didn´t you saw when he was training with Jiraiya? he used a futon jutsu, and also another of the principal abilities of the Rinnengan is that allow the user to learn ALL the elemental jutsus (Fire, water, wind, earth, etc, etc...) please, please, read ALL the information that said Narutopedia about the Rinnegan and Nagato!!! Not only the things that you THINK can help you.
Also all the summons from the animal paths are unique summons of the Rinnegan, Jiraiya wasn´t able to believe how he get such summons because he had never saw something like them, all of them have the Rinnegan and at least one black rod that suggest that Nagato is controlling them as well, the Giant Crustacean didn´t seems to have the Rinnegan, why? maybe just because its eyes were to small for Kishimoto to draw them or he just doesn´t like them the way they look, we don´t know. And dude, the Giant Crustacean DIDN´T use the Wild Water Wave it use the Water Release: Wild Bubble Wave technique, actually why would you thing if a summon use a technique someone else can do it means is of him or she? Gamabunta can make water jutsus but that doesn´t mean is a summon of Kizame
And Finally you are also wrong about the summoning stuff, then please tell me how Naruto was able to summon Gamabunta if Jiraiya was still alive and he can summon it too? to summon a creature you just need to seal a contract with it and ALOT of people can summon the same being. The Animal path can only summon its own and special summons or the other paths or people that it seal first (No, not sealing like 'Ha! I trap you!', no, I mean putting a seal in it).

2824238 You didn't read what I wrote: I said the ASURA PATH had no chakra abilities in life. He was a puppet master, and like most puppet masters (Sasori excluded) they didn't use chakra abilities aside from their threads.
Also, initially, Naruto didn't make a sealing contract with Gamabunta. He made the sealing contract with Gamikichi. He accidentally summoned Gamabunta.
And yes, I am getting my information from Narutopedia.

But I did just figure out something. When I looked at the information from Narutopedia, it was 3 years ago. Since anyone can edit the articles on the website, it's quite possible it's changed. After all, 3 years ago the first part wasn't even finished yet. The manga was much farther along, though, and that's not always the same as the anime.
For instance, I'm sure you know the new article even says that Obito only used Wood-Style in the mange, but not the anime.
It's possible my information is outdated.

2824406 Naruto's contract wasn't with Gamabunta or Gamakichi. Naruto made a contract with the toads not a specific one. He could summon any toad from Mount Myoboku if he so wished.
