Wonderfully written thus far. I really like your portrayal of the characters. They all feel...for lack of a better word, relatable. I am also slighjtly intrigued as to how the mane 6 would react to a male alicorn. Don't know if the fic is dead or not, but for what is done, well-done. Favorited and I will be reading any chapters, if more should come out.

A fun chapter, though it could do with a solid proofreader. There are some grammatical here and there. The one that stuck out was not using "too" and "to" properly. All quite minor, but slightly nerve-grinding none the less.

Out of everything I read I only have to complaints...
One is
What, have you no faith in me?
Missing quotations at the beginning and end of this sentence.
And two
The descriptive detail felt a bit lacking.
For instance when Star arrives at the castle
. How? Did he teleport? Or did he fly?
If he did fly, how was it? Did he see new things in Canterlot, smell new smells, hear new sounds? (Considering he's been gone for some time) Little things like that. Transition detail is what I'm getting at.
One other time I felt it would have made a difference is when he's cloaked and walking up to the throne all ominous and stuff. I felt the lack of a reaction from the guards made it seem like they were the only two in the throne room. If the guards had all collectively shifted towards the cloaked figure and tightened their grip on their spears, slightly spread their stance to charge just incase, once again, little things like that I feel bring a great deal of life to a scene. I figure they would react like this because I remember the stairs to the throne being fairly close leaving not much room to react should said cloaked pony be all evil and stuff.
Ultimately though I'm just glad to see this update.
4519080 Thanks for that. No matter how much editiing there always seem to be one or two mistakes that are missed. So good catch on that one. However I did say how he left the train, he teleported. He didn't want to walk or fly because word would reach Celestia before he got to her. I also did change the scene before the throne room. You were right there needed to me the usual supicious guards. However they were outside the throne room. Celestia was alone in the throne room. Why lack of security you ask, well when your a goddess some pony holding a spear seems a little unneccesary. Chapter 6 should be out soon. Thanks for the continue love and support.
