Why bother publishing if you're not gonna finish it?
Some people just feel the need to put their creations out there, regardless of whether it will be finished or not. Sometimes it helps them get criticism for parts of their writing style, others do it because if readers get interested, they may check out the authors other works or similar stories by other people.

2513462 I might eventually continue with it, but as things are looking now. It will take a long time for this story to eventually continue.
And adding the fact my collaborator kinda quit writing, meaning I need to morph a lot more then I thought. Then again, coming up with ideas never had been a problem for me.
We shall see in time, but just don't count on it anywhere soon.
