I'm sorry if I gave you the impression that I write crack fics that only deal with depraved or disgusting situations but this is not meant to be one of them. It is simply meant to be a possible version of Chrysalis's original plan to take over Canterlot. This fic does not have that kind of violence within it, nor will it be continued as it is just an open response to the idea that Chrysalis was incompetent. Note the rating remains at "Teen." If you'd like to comment on the actual writing feel free to do so.
Not a bad idea, she definitely didn't plan on facing Celestia directly originally. I felt like maybe she was trying to maneuver Twilight into attacking Cadence myself-- except of course that raised the question of why Cadence was alive in the first place, if Twilight killing her wouldn't hurt anything.
Of course, it still doesn't cover exactly how she planned to get love by terrifying the population (I'm partial to the "those cocoons act like the pods in the Matrix" explanation but it's all fan speculation).
