So a shy Ralts, a brash Riolu and a sarcastic Treecko walk into a small village inhabited by ponies. Sounds like a bad punchline doesn’t it? Cause it really is. Months have gone by since the "Battle of the Bands" and the sirens suffering a humiliating defeat However, times change and so do people, thus the trio have been redeemed and shall be eating a mighty feasts with their former enemy, now friend, Sunset Shimmer. Te only thing is, this is the sirens very first Thanksgiving and have no clue what is to be expected.

Every Nightmare Night a timid little ghost of a long deceased filly comes out to celebrate the holiday which she cherished most when she was alive. Often she kept to the sidelines, never being noticed for hundreds of years. This was until three little fillies, and their group of rag-tag friends, caught her attention.

Balefire bathed the land.

There were, of course, survivors…

The cities were scorched with weapons of untold power, the very land was soaked with poison, but the world was not destroyed, just a way of life. The first deaths numbered in the millions, but the death toll during the next year was even more staggering as ponies struggled to find water, food, and shelter amidst the ruins of the civilization.

In what had once been North Equestria, the survivors fought to prevail in a new age of sickness, balefire, barbarism and desperation. There were days of seemingly endless night, eerily lit by the glow of the pegasi’s cities burning in the sky. And then the sky was closed, blanketed by thick clouds that heralded an endless winter. Fetid swamps infected with magical radiation created new and terrible life forms. Windigo’s storms hurtled across the landscape with enough strength to level entire cities, and when by some freak chance a storm cloud swept in from the sea, it was warped, putrid rain that fell—balefire tainted water that stripped a pony to the bones in seconds of shrieking agony.

In isolated pockets, ponies survived and struggled against terrible odds.

Underground, ponies retreated into the safety of Stables and hoped to outlast the apocalypse.

A story based on a dream I had, this is about a foal with Obsessional Defiant Disorder, That blows up just a little to much at school.

Something that I often worry could actually happen to me. ODD is extremely hard to manage, and it makes one's life a lot harder.

Rarity always dreamed of being famous. She dreamed of being rich, too, but she knew if she became a famous fashionista, everything else would fall in line. Well, everything has, and while she has everything she ever dreamed of, there is something she never realized she would be missing: being normal. Or at least feeling normal. Even her best friends treat her differently now. Being fawned over and beloved is all well and good, but it doesn't leave a lot of room for, say, long conversations over wine and cheese, or giggling gossip in bathrobes and towel hats. If only somepony could see her for who she used to be, just for a little while, she could truly call herself the most fortunate pony in Equestria.

Ever since she rekindled her friendship with Twilight, Moondancer's life has been on an upward slope. Coming out of the darkness and actually interacting with other ponies for once has been great for her self-esteem, her confidence, and her overall well-being. It even resulted in her hearing about a fashion show where Rarity the Unicorn might be found. With fashion as her secret guilty pleasure and Rarity the absolute titan of the industry, how could she possibly miss this chance to meet her idol? She might even get an autograph...
