It's easy to think about fairytales when you’re an ancient alicorn trapped in a library for centuries on end. It's easy to wonder how one would go about rescuing you, to think and devise and plot out how to free you in a blaze of glory, intrigue, adventure, and romance.

Or, rather, it’s easy until suddenly it happens and you’re forced to ask yourself the one terrifying question you’d yet to consider.

Over a thousand years of imprisonment in a stone statue have worn on Discord's sanity, and some would argue that it had never been in tremendous shape to begin with; a little bit of mischief is required, and the annual Grand Galloping Gala may just provide some amusement in the form of a little yellow pony.

After what must have been the most epic of benders ever bent in the history of alcohol and metal combined, James finds himself waking up in a new world, crammed into an unfamiliar new body.

Left with little to no choice in the matter, he has to adapt to this new situation, all the while looking for a possible way back home. As if all of this wasn't already crazy enough, this world seemed to be inhabited by technicolor ponies which worshipped powerful beings called: Alicorns.

After finding out that he was indeed an alicorn himself, he decides to keep this fact a secret. Being crowned as a prince would surely invite more trouble than it was worth.

This story is inspired by Snorting Gentlemans story: Alicorn of Music: Reliving The Childhood. The idea behind the story always fascinated me, and, with Snorting Gentlemans permission, I've decided to write out my own twist at it.

This is just a side project for me, so updates will be irregular.

A mare finds herself all alone on a station on the moon. She is being monitored but by who is not known for they do not speak to her. She is threatened by everything on the station as they malfunction in ways that threaten to kill her. She knows nothing except that she has to find out why she is on the moon, what her past is and a way to escape from the moon.
