In a series of crimes that have stunned canterlot, bank robbers have been killing bank employees and there family's if the robbers instructions are not followed to the letter. Twilight Sparkle knows this is no ordinary criminal- the pathological need for control and perfection is too great. Sparkle is in the midst of a crisis at home- but the case becomes all-consuming as she learns that the masterhorse is planning one huge, last perfect crime....

Twilight is bored out of her mind. There's nothing to do this Saturday, after she so cleverly pack Sunday with day-to-day items. But what to do? Spike has an idea. Kill time. Literally. He's got just the spell for it.

This is going to be interesting. Well, at least she's not bored.

It's been almost three years since Echo officially came out of hiding, adopted her daughter, and began the arduous task of becoming part of what was, to her, an alien culture. She's managed to secure financial stability, but now she struggles with things that are altogether foreign to her.

What does it mean to have friends? She knows it's a good thing, she knows it keeps her alive, but it seems like there's a measure of responsibility to it. More importantly, how can she be a good mother to her daughter if she doesn't understand something so fundamental to ponies as friendship?

Moving back to Ponyville presents its own challenges though, as she finds an unexpected surprise waiting for her.

Seeking respite, she turns to help in Canterlot, only to find that there is an even greater menace there, waiting to ruin her peaceful existence.

She really can't seem to get a break.

Someone once told me that if you can truly see the good in a person, then you can also see the true darkness in that person. Those are just a few of the words that I live by. But sometimes, there isn't any light to be seen in a person. When you can't see the light in a person, it just means that the darkness has overpowered the good in them. When Trixie Lulamoon discovers the instrument of her revenge, the Alicorn Amulet, the darkness in her truly overtakes the light, even if there was almost none to begin with. With one of the most powerful of all of Equestria's magical trinkets in her possession, how will those who have laughed in her face fare? My guess... is not very well.

Trinkets is a psychological look into the character Trixie shortly before the episode Magic Duel takes place. I think how attached she becomes to the amulet really shows just how easy it is to becomes lost in the darkness.

This is my backstory on Excalibur Edge as she gets a kind of crash course in having a new life, and being kind of rushed into it all. Most of this will be taking place before Skaltrox Defiance Knight's Lavender Heart . So get ready for a bucking wild ride in this mare's life. Well, maybe not that wild.

After getting a letter from Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle discovers that Sunset Shimmer and the Twilight from the other side of the mirror like to go on dates that involve checking each other out while they try on panties. Twilight Sparkle can't quite figure out what the big deal is, but decides that it might be fun to do with Pinkie Pie.

Of course, with Pinkie Pie, the unexpected should be expected.
