Scootaloo has been without a place to call home for a long time, and up until now, she's been relatively fine. But the winter is only getting colder, and her Crusader's cape isn't doing much to keep her warm at night in the unheated clubhouse, and she just hopes for a better life maybe, with a certain filly with a pastel pink and violet mane, but right now she just wants a home..

This is something else. The characters are accurate, but the setting has changed. The story has changed. Is there truly a hero and villain, or perhaps are the roles switched? History was written by the winners, after all.
It is the survivors who tell the true story.

(Finally, I have started working on a project I've had in my head since I was 14. Yes, six years later, and here I am writing it as it was meant to be. This story has been rewritten a dozen times, but I am finally satisfied with the direction it is headed. Thank you for giving it a chance ahead of time, it means the world to me. Autumn Breeze has a pretty good life for a drifter. She still keeps in contact with her parents, along with the many friends that she has made throughout her travels. Sure she only stays in any one town for a couple of years at a time, but that's okay. After all, she loves to meet new ponies. She'd like to settle down, though, if only ponies wouldn't keep discovering her secret.

Even in Ponyville, it won't be long before somepony suspects her story about her unusual appearance. Not long before somepony notices that she secludes herself in her room once a month. Not long before somepony opens her bedroom door on the night of a full moon to see a feral fox thrashing around, trying to get out of it's bonds.

Well, maybe things will be different this time. Maybe nopony will discover that she's an equi-fox. Maybe when they find out they won't care.

And maybe pigs will sprout wings and start giving flying lessons to young pegasi.

Sure, changeling invasions have become semi-common, as have parasprite swarms, but did Equestria really expect donuts to attack?

Lately, Twilight has been developing some unfamiliar...feelings for a certain white-furred fashionista in Ponyville. And, judging by Rarity's rather flirtatious manner, she feels the same way.
