It's Nightmare Night in the strange village hidden deep within the heart of the Neighagara Forest. Tonight, all the changelings and ponies of Respite will laugh and play and dance the night away. But something seems off about the merry band of tricky nymphs and foals, and Sure Stroke's determined to get to the bottom of it.

Fluttershy was never a fan of Nightmare Night. The spooks. The frights. It was far from her cup of tea. Rainbow Dash, however, enjoyed the holiday and one Nightmare Night wanted her mate, Fluttershy, to enjoy it as well. And with some convincing she was able to get Fluttershy to agree to go with her for some Nightmare Night fun. The only catch was that Rainbow Dash had to make sure the poor fragile pony wouldn't get spooked. A job only made harder by some weird behaviour around the town..

Twilight Sparkle defeated many enemies of Equestria, but soon finds herself once again encountering the evil, double-sided sticky substance, known as Duct Tape. Will Twilight win, or will the tape be victorious again? A sticky challenge, all the more scary to happen on Nightmare Night...

An odd quirk of Equestrian law is that the mayor of an Earth Pony town can be challenged to a fertility contest to prove that she's fit for office.
