After an argument with Twilight, Luna is out of sorts. Smasher, a clumsy colt with a penchant for breaking valuables, isn’t having the best day either.

Celestia has received an invitation to a meeting over tea with two beings more powerful than she could imagine. Two beings who she had only hoped on meeting until she got the invitation. But will she be satisfied with the answers they give her?

Everpony knows Celestia and Luna. But in reality we know nothing about them, all we know is they defeated Discord, Luna went mad, Celestia banished Luna, 1000 years passed and then she came back.

But rest easy, for this is their tale.

New student Lemon Hearts has come to Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns to begin again. Thanks to a kind stallion named Green Fields and the careful tutelage of Sunset Shimmer, Lemon Hearts is going to do what no first-year student has done before.

She’s going to be a Princess.

My name is Starlight Glimmer, and I hate bad endings. It isn't fair when some ponies win and others lose, purely by chance. If I had my way, every pony would be equal. Every pony would win. After all, the only other fair thing would be for us all to have a bad ending, and who would want that? This colorless world is bad enough already as it is.

[REMEMBER THIS IS ALL FICTION]

During Part 2 of the Season 5 Finale, Twilight Sparkle reenters the past the confront Starlight Glimmer once more after escaping from a changeling-infested future. Twilight then proceeds to try to beat Starlight in a magic battle.

What viewers witnessed were roughly 45 seconds of action that ended with Twilight and Starlight landing back on a cloud, exhausted and out of breath, before hearing an excited cry from filly Rainbow Dash and the other two colts who were watching in excitement, having been distracted from the race.

However, things don't add up at all here. After fighting Tirek in the Season 4 Finale for about the same amount of time and quadruple the magic power, neither were exhausted in any way. Because of this, there should be no way that Starlight and Twilight, two of the most powerful ponies in Equestria, can run out of power in less than a minute. Also, how could all the other fillies be acting excited over watching less than a minute of action?T he answer is simple. They fought for almost an hour, but (thanks to Sweetie Belle's reminder of friendship problems being over in half an hour or so) it had to be shortened to fit the air time.
